Not sure what I was expecting from KDA but I was expecting something more than what has happened so far?

People talked about it for a few hours and then it disappeared? Is anything going to happen in the future with it to make it a bigger deal or is this the extent of the impact it'll have?

Seems like there will be lyrics video. Ofc, it's not a proper MV, but since JYPE can't really match CUBE negotiation power and g-idle's global status, can we really hope for more?

really sad result for 2nd full album release, i hope the members didnt think about it, but cant help to think pretty sure they think about it a lot tbh.

how do they feel knowing some onces left? bcs shitty company sabotaging..

I think gaon sales are within normal range. Yeah, it's worse than some fans expected, but it's still pretty solid and could be predicted.
although bp selling almost 3x of twice's numbers is a bit schocking ngl

but once again I don't get what's going on with TWICE advertisment management. One more era with zero new CF. It seems like the only contract left (in Korea atleast) is this ADLV one, which is some local niche business. Last time TWICE competed with big ggs on this market was in like 2018. How it ended up here from Gallup most recognizable idol group?

I think there is a strong connection between CF visibility and digital performance. Along with members solo activities, TV presence etc.

To answer that point a few days ago on Pann an article excerpt was making the rounds, not sure the source or the legitimateness of it but ti basically was an insider explaining what happened to Twice's CF's and it basically put it plainly that you have to hire them as a 9 piece and it's far too expensive and very few brands want to pay for full groups anymore.

I mean why hire Twice for the price of 9 members when you could hire Hwasa for 10-15% the price? Or if you needed a full group you can get things like OMG, RV and Itzy even for less than Twice.

It's also to do with JYP Entertainment just being a terrible company on another front once again because not only do Twice have basically no CF's but the same can be said for Itzy, Stray Kids and Got7 too. The only one with a good endorsement game right now is Jackson.

Yeah back in the day advertisers could pick Twice up for a fraction of what they cost now, I'm sure JYPE thinks along the lines or 'why waste time on CF's when they don't make much money for the company'

Be damned Twice's brand and the individual member value as long as they can fart out another monograph, seasons greetings or merch drop JYP is happy enough.

The fact that Twice receive 0 individual branding, opportunities or push of any kind is alarming from the company. Following this album I think a post mortem is needed internally within the company to find out what's going wrong and who/how many of div 3 need to be replaced. People are not doing their jobs on multiple fronts and it was only a matter of time before the results reflected this.

Looks like I Can't Stop Me won't rise anymore on Melon

Pretty much every song above it, including When We Disco/Kyuhun's OST rose more in UL's yesterday. Looks like Dingga will get into the top 6 as MMM are promoting now.

Even smaller things such as their searches on Melon have plateaued (yesterday BP had 28k, MMM had 19k and Twice 16k)

Year end show are too far away to have an substantial impact I feel.

I really like debut song from BEP's own gg. MV is obviously cheap and pretty modern girl-crash type of generic, yet it at 5 miliion views already, which is great tbh. Good luck to them and huge respect to BEP folks

Well. I do think they have a chance of doing it again but it's highly unlikely for us given how Twice are managed.

Look at the state of this, what did they expect to happen? At this point it would be lucky to go gold lmao.

JYPE will have its money through NiziU anyway. And there are two more groups on the way, according to media.
Dude is so sure he knows magic formula and market is endless.
