It's true, after the vlog announcement I saw so many hit tweets of fans celebrating the bare minimum shit jype has given to twice in these few weeks as some kind of big amusing thing and saying we are so well feed, onces is for sure the lamest of all big fandoms. The only fans you see worrying about the future and the girls solo activities are the most biased fans and akgaes

This moron

When an imbecile that keep pushing his dead career more than the potential of the biggest artist his company ever had is in charge of so many things, it's expected everything will go downhill sooner or later.

JYPE is doing pretty much the same with itzy right now: pumping yt "shows" one after another combined with 124 dance practice versions.

Seems like a strategy at this point.

An outdated strategy. I think jype doesnt know how to manage artists properly. For a company which is considered a “big 3” company they sure dont act like one.

Well this is something, that brand had bts and iu in the past and it seems it's bigger than pocari. If the morons at jype finally opened their eyes and they will start to give them more group brand deals and finally let them have solo deals I will stop calling them morons for some time. I hope they start getting more cf tv spots too, the last time they had a tv spot was that jtbc song I think...

They have a new endorsement. I think that's good news. And it's a local Korean vitamin brand so hopefully this can help get their public relevancy back in Korea.
Yeah and it's must be a fairly decent brand/big name since it had a collab with BTS in November so that seems huge to me. Very very good news imho.

I read they were expanding into Japan? Outside of BTS who they've already had (and presumably couldn't renew with), Twice would definitely be next best placed with their name recognition in SK/Japan.

They seem to have fairly short deals so can see it being a year long one.

Nayeon is attending an LV event that's gonna be broadcasted later. Could this be the year when we are going to get more solo/unit activities for the girls?

I'm surprised people have forgotten Tzuyu/Jeongyeon were invited last year as fans thought that was a pre-cursor to something as well - they just invite celebrities every year.

Quickly looking at Twitter and I can see Soyoung (SNSD) and Hwasa got one as well (/probably others if you searched more)

JYPE better reschedule comeback to May or June max, to grab some izone fans lol. TWICE looks like the best alternative for them imo, just like it was for sones back in 2015-2016

Twice and Izone's Korean fans are like the biggest enemies so they'll probably benefit the least from it!

It is one less GG for potential fans I guess but now you have Brave Girls blowing up massively. Big Hit's new GG as well this year with Aespa also starting.

We'll probably start getting contract news/rumours towards the end of this year. Feels like a lot could change by the end of this year.

With g7 leaving the company, skz getting in lot of controversies, day6 starting their enlistment and itzy still not even near reaching the level of success tw had in their first year I guess jype is reconsidering their lame and brainless bare minimum strategies with them, I hope in the shareholders meeting of this month they decide to go all out with TWICE, they're the group with biggest chance to be even bigger than they are now.

Really? It really feels like both groups compete for similar audience (more or less), with fandoms coincide to some extent.
Maybe that's the reason of conflict lol.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but pretty sure they were the fanbase that spread the fake rumour about a staff member criticising Twice's singing during an encore of M&M, whilst also being the ones that complained to Hanteo about Twice's M&M sales which led to hanteo having ot confirm it.

In general I haven't heard good things between the two.

I wonder is JYPE regretting all the investment they've done for their new golden boys over the last 2-ish years while neglecting Twice and Got7 only for Got7 to leave the company and take their brand with them and now Stray Kids once again fucking over JYPE with their problematic pasts downgrading the company image.
Just think last year JYP scolded Jae for 'downgrading the company image' for streaming and what now? Lmao, it's tragic.

I don't think Twice, Red Velvet, Itzy or BP have any chance of converting WizOne, certainly not Twice. A lot of Ifans don't realize but Produce group stans are heavily anti Big 3. It kind of attracts Big 3 anti's in Korea and that's why they've always famously had problematic domestic fandoms. Which is why we really didn't see Exo, Got7, Winner, etc grow in fandom size following the disbandment of Wanna One or X1.
But yeah it's pretty much a double no for Twice since Wiz are massive Twice anti's and have been a bane to the fandom for the better part of 2 years now. Even if it would grow the fandom I wouldn't want them, fuck em. I'm glad their group is gone and I hope their fans are wallowing right now lol.

I think based on what I've seen Twice these days tend to be about 60-40 male female in Korea with the majority being teens and 20's while IzOne seem to be from stuff like Melon, Naver demographs, etc around 70-30 male to female in Korea with the majority being 20's to 30's so it's a bit different but not massively.

Their fans might be younger on average but I don't think there's any 3rd gen group (maybe OMG) where demographics overlap more.

Anyhow Sakura potentially joining BH and being in their new group would be pretty crazy, they'd get worldwide support from the BH association and then more Chinese/Japanese/Korean support from Sakura.

Really the worst time for Twice to lose their momentum in South Korea as it feels like there won't be much space for the group/members in the near future with the path the company are leading them down.

I can't help but notice even the small things that are building up now, like how SBS are promoting the Legend Archive show. Clicked on it confused as Twice weren't shown in the thumbnail and I thought they were in it but they just didn't feel the need to put them on it, and the hashtags are only BTS and BP. In the grand scheme of things obviously not massively relevant but its the slow movements that are ominous for me as it shows the change in perception.

It's kpop we're talking about so todays haters could be tomorrow fans easily and yeah, I think they are the closest to TWICE in terms of fans demographics. it's not MMM\BP\RV audience imo.

As for SKZ, I don't think there's possibility of them slowing down because of those controversies. Stray Kids are basically martyrs now in the eyes of ifans and they are getting insane following growth internationally. Definitely the next JYPE's big thing.

ITZY, on the other hand... dude, seems like they are going to enjoy all the stuff we've been complaining about right from the start of their career.

Stray Kids last repack album isn't very far behind Twice's full album (like 30k) - I wouldn't be surprised if they start outselling from the next release on. Twice's touring power is what will set them apart more than anything as it's king in Japan (though pretty obsolete with Covid atm)

Said it before but Twice are just unfortunate with their timing. Had their debut in a company struggling so worked to the bone with no regard for their well-being/long-term future to bring in the money and relevance to guarantee the companies future/their projects. Now that they've done that it feels like we're in no-mans land, seemingly too late in their contracts to push members so not worth it and they didn't really take advantage of one of biggest growth periods kpop has seen as they were too busy with a million other things, so are now struggling with momentum in the most important markets.

The Itzy's/Stray Kids/Nizi's of the label are reaping the benefits. The groups are not forced to work to the level Twice had to so they can take it easier and plan for them better. Twice just didn't have that and it was 100mph safe management for too long to get in the most amount of money in the short term. Just a burn-out on the GP and fandom side. As much as BP fans complain about the YG approach everything they do just seems fresh as a result with a lot of investment in it to make anything they do as impactful as possible. They wouldn't be where they are without that approach, enjoying a second peak as kpop sees a massive bump in popularity.

What are the chances that two days after I posted about Izone fans, an Izone fan gets exposed for essentially running a slave room that get children to write shit about groups and spread rumours

It's an odd case but from what I understand, he's finding anyone that said anything about Izone being rigged (a fact), getting their personal details and then make them post about other groups with the threat of leaking their info if they didn't. Someone correct me if I'm wrong and I've misunderstood. I wonder if it gets bigger at all.
