How do you feel about LOONA potentially joining that new Mnet show? I don’t want it; not only they’re shit editors, it might meant less promos for LOONA.

BBC mentioned Japanese promos after Burn, it wouldn’t be possible if three vocalists join the show and end up winning. Also, if it’s Heejin, Kim Lip and Chuu, it means one member of each sub-unit would be unavailable for their respective promos. BBC also me tioned near future unit activities.

I'm having mixed feelings with this. Like I get it might get them some exposure to the public but mnet's evil editing might ruin the girls' reputation. Besides, if they do win, it'll mean delayed cb or cb wIthout those members and I don't want that.
I don't think the girls need another messNine to happen.

I wanna cry .
I remember seeing articles on OH about this new girl group that'll be releasing memebers each month with their own solos and stuff. People were really skeptical about it and thought it'll fail but look where they are now. Their predebut project was one oF the best things that happened to kpop. I wanna cry . Loona as a whole is one of the most unique groups out there. I love them so much.

+ i’m not shading other groups at all when i say this but i can’t help but feel like there are other groups who are even lesser known than LOONA who desperately need the exposure boost that the show could bring right now...LOONA is far from that point

but at the same time judging from the other rumored groups, it seems like their goal is to find groups that do have fanbases somewhat (vs total nugus who actually need the boost badly) so there’s ~drama~ and more viewers will tune in...

Of those 6 rumored groups it's still an odd mixture. 3 post IOI groups who have fallen on hard times down to 10K sales range for their albums. True rookie everglow who has had a pretty solid start. 2 groups Loona and fromis (who just had a comeback) that have sold 50K+ per album recently.

The article did say the shooting would be at the end of July with an airing end of August. Perhaps it's not really a huge time commitment or disruptive to the group schedules?

so it’s not at all like the unit and it doesn’t sound like any of the girls would be away from the group due to it...i’m still skeptical though i don’t trust mnet’s editing

This is just my guess, but I think this show is kinda like America's Best Dance Crew, but Korean Version plus Vocals.
