Yeah, topping Line Music doesn't say anything for a group of Twice's popularity. A few J-ggs I follow have topped it and they're mid tier in popularity (think DIA, CLC, April).

Yes, line is better measured imho in conjunction with other more major charts and also by the 'drop'.

Yeah agreed. I mean from the news this morning it would seem they have moved into a much more advance stage with their group and debut will surely be the next phase of that.
Without any major label, trainee system, connections or experience in the market from an mgmt point of view this is going to be extremely tough for BEP. Especially when you consider people in Korea don't actually know them well they just know their songs so I imagine Rado and Kyu-Sung know this and realize if it's going to work it's gonna be because the group has probably the best kpop producers making title tracks for them.

So that makes me think BEP will be keeping the top shelf stuff for their girls and not selling it to, what is now, the competition. This also might explain why Dumhdurum is the only thing they've released in Korea since Fancy, that's 1 song in like 17 months which is much lower than usual for them, so I'm guessing their own GG is keeping them busy right now. Shame if so as it's a big loss to Twice.

My thoughts tho is, yeah BEP are def' needle movers for Twice, but right now their international fandom is at an all time high so I think that's safe for the time being. What Twice really need is a big domestic hit and BEP can be that but also the last few number 1's for Twice haven't been songs by them so I don't think that's under threat.

honestly didnt really worried about BEP as producer, i know they are very good producer but the last dometic hit twice achieved is yes or yes, thats by david amber.

if BEP decide to put pride of their works and focus on their gg, their gg will have 50k physical sales max, but if BEP is truly think about profit honestly they can gain 600k-800k sales from twice fandom and jyp brand alone now from physical sales.

btw do you know twice gained 600k twitter follower after more and more? from 5.4 since first teaser released to 6.1 now
thats the power they have with flop song imagine if they actually gained hits both domestic and internationally.

i dont know if we want classified more and more as flop or not tbh. but this one is underperform for sure

honeslty i treat line music like youtube music, its free for everyone have so many users bcs its free platform but not premium music apps.

i always measure if the song doing good from overall chart like GAON index or ORICON index, period.
dont measure the performance of the song from 1 single music stream platform.

atleast JYPE really expand their connections now with international relationship, i wonder if NIZIU will bring more opportunity or not to JYPE connections in JAPAN
