NCT & WayV Winwin!

He was first introduced on January 5th 2016 as a SMRookie and got a lot of attention for his visuals

Fans later found out he was not only handsome but also very smart, being admitted predebut into four of the best art schools in China with outstanding results



Shortly after his introduction, we could get a taste from Winwin's skills on traditional chinese dance in this teaser for SM's new boygroup, NCT




Winwin wasn't a member of the first NCT lineup (NCT U) but he was there with them since the beginning, from performing The 7th Sense at the 16th Top Chinese Music Awards to making a cameo apperance on Without You MV






On July 7th Winwin debuted in NCT 127 with Fire Truck, impressing with his acrobatic skills, being dubbed the 1:02 guy. NCT 127's early dances by Tony Testa like Fire Truck and Cherry Bomb especially highlight his dance abilities, with chinese traditional dance moves incorporated into the choreos




Issues aside, NCT 127 allowed us to see a lot of different sides of Winwin, from charismatic to cute, where he was known as the member loved and doted by everyone




On February 18th 2018, two years after his first appearances with NCT U, Winwin made his debut in that unit with Boss, and took part in NCT 2018 Empathy promotions




In January 17th 2019 Winwin made his official debut in China with WayV, the group he's currently promoting with




WayV allowed Winwin a lot of growth, from giving him more artistic freedom to showcase his talents and communicating with fans to making his participation on WayV's music more significant




Winwin accomplished a lot of things in 2019, like his first solo CFs, his first fixed cast position in a variety show and a record-breaking magazine






Hope 2020 can be a year where Winwin can achieve even more things Happy 4th anniversary!
