I remember as a wee kid finding my Dad's stash of ABBA LPs, getting into them big time, and copying all of it over onto mini discs. The nights spent falling asleep to ABBA were countless. The Chess musical soundtrack? Chef's kiss!

I love it. Don't Shut Me Down has that classic ABBA sound. Its chorus also reminds me of Eurovision songs.

:poggers: Icons! Every Abba track is a classic. It sorta makes coming back a little risky tbh, can they hope to live up to their previous work?

Quality-wise, it remains to be seen if their new songs will be as good as their old ones.

Financially, though, this is a good move. The old groups (Rolling Stones, U2, Guns N' Roses, etc.) have done really well in terms of music sales, merch and touring. Before the pandemic, these old groups brought in a lot of money from their tours.
