Are you closer to mom or dad?

I love both of my parents with all my heart, buuut if I had to choose I'd say I feel a tad closer to my dad even though we often clash.

My mom is more of a role model - the one who has instilled all the values in me and given me advices. My dad, on the other hand, has pretty much been there for me through everything; from driving me to school when I was younger to condoning me skipping classes adkshf Even now he still insists in helping me with things I can do myself

My father has passed but never saw or spoke to me after age 13. So definitely my mother by a wide margin. Technically I was closest to my late grandparents as I lived with them the majority of my life. Still my mother is a good kind and wonderful person and we have always been very close.

My mother always treated me like I was disabled and passed when I was 19. I didn't meet my dad until i was 25, we only met once and were not close.
I lived with my mom but i cant say we were very close.

My dad passed away long ago so I only had my mom even if I'm not very close to her I take care of her

Mum for sure. Dad's great and all, but he wasn't able to be around much when i was growing up.

honestly, neither? mom nags and is super picky about everything while dad has a terribly short fuse/gets angry quickly

if i must say though i'm closer to my mom's side of the family. i've only seen my dad's relatives like twice and that was ~10 years ago

I am so grateful for both my parents and love them both. But im closer to my mom.
I wonder if my dad knows what period is even, just a thought.
