Having a limit of 2MB limits the amount of frames = you can't have unlimited frames, since the file's size is limited.
Your issue is different, most probably related to the dimensions of your gif, which I'll ask techs about.

Reducing the frames solved my problem.

No, I just reduced the size and removed some frames.
This is the original, it is in webp and converted it to gif.
I had to google rectagunlar to make sure it is not a rectangular.

Hmmm my theory is that since the gif was very small (less than the recommended 400x400), it had to be re-sized automatically and then the amount of frames became an issue because of it. But I'm no tech and the forum is still too new for me to know everything so tbh, not sure. I'll ask techs about it so I can be on point next time I'm asked this question ;)

ORIGINAL POSTER/ORIGINAL POST RULES:
The following guidelines are set in place for OPs:
  • OP ownership is tied to activity. Users need to post/update the thread once every month. If they neglect to do it it can lead to the loss of OP rights
  • If a thread's holder knows they will be entirely inactive for a period of 3 months maximum (no posting activity on the forum), they can appoint a "temporary holder". This temporary holder needs to be someone who is active in the thread and who agreed to update for them. They must ask for the change in the AAM or in PM. When they come back, the thread will revert back to the original holder per request. If the original holder fails to request their thread back within 3 months, the "temporary holder" can keep the thread.
  • Moderators reserve the right to change the owner of a thread if they feel these rules are not being met
  • Users who have been absent from Hallyu+ for 1+ months without appointing a temporary owner, may have their OP rights removed and given to another user.
  • If a user is still active on the forum and someone else has requested for the OP to be changed, the user has one week to respond to the other user before a Moderator steps in. A Moderator will then PM the OP about the request to receive an answer. If the user is active yet unresponsive, their silence will result in the OP being handed over to someone else.
  • Previously banned users will have their OP rights removed for a minimum of 1 month. After that time, if no one else has requested the OP and the user has not earned any warning points, then they may request to receive their old OP.
  • The OP holder reserves the right to decide what is included in the first post as well as what is updated. They are not required to change it just from another user's request.
  • Pressuring and/or bullying the OP holder into changing the first post or original poster will result in a temporary one week ban from the thread, or what's deemed necessary by a Moderator. Once the temporary ban has ended, if the user returns to the thread with the same behavior, then a higher form of punishment will be added at Moderator's discretion.
  • If a user is deemed to have obtained an OP for use in a manner not in accordance with the H+ site rules, the OP may be removed at the discretion of the moderating team.
  • Petitioning for a change in a thread will not be tolerated.

quick question, a friend of mine wants to register an account on here but the confirmation mail just isnt being sent?
he said he checked in spam and tried to resend it multiple times and has waited for almost three hours but cant confirm his account so I am asking here for him
