So it's finally that time

Going straight to the point, please see below for all details. If you have any questions, feel free to drop them here!

Schedule

Nomination Phase
Idol - 02/25/22 to 03/11/22 at 5 PM EST
Anime - 03/01/22 to 03/15/22 at 5 PM EST
If passed by the majority via the previous survey, the nomination for Game Characters will be held concurrently with the Anime category.

The final round of voting might be held for QC/shortlisting purposes if deemed necessary.

Rules

1 form per user.
Your first submission is final.
Feel free to use this thread to discuss and/or coordinate with other users.
Users who have bought at least a pack of cards before will have their vote counted 2x.

For idol pack:
*Please only nominate idols within one of these categories: Korean, Japanese, and Chinese music industry.
*You may nominate idols that haven’t appeared in the 1st edition.
*You may also nominate the same idols that already appeared in the 1st edition.
*Inactive or disbanded groups are not eligible.
*If a group has disbanded, but its members have gone solo you may nominate them as soloists.
*Only those that have a new release after the ones used in the 1st edition (or are expected to have a new release before April 2022) are eligible.

For anime (& game, if applicable) pack:
*You may only vote for characters who were NOT included in the 1st edition.
*No manga-only characters - only those that have an anime adaption are eligible.
*Please strive to only nominate animes that have good quality to be used for cards.

I've got 2 questions!

I can't remember if this has been addressed before, but how will purchasing 1st edition and 2nd edition packs work? Will they be lumped in the same pool, or will you be able to differentiate between which edition you're buying from?

And also, how strict are you with the term "idol" for nominations, as in, would someone like Aimer qualify? She's not really an idol... but she's a very popular Japanese pop artist/singer, for example.

Even though they don't, if shortlisting is deemed necessary then the # of nominations would be what we would look at to make our decisions.

1) They'll be separate so you can choose which edition you'd like to purchase
2) We use the term loosely I just looked her up and she'd be fine
