What is the main source of entertainment on Hallyuplus? The answer is events and games! The Events team works hard to put together fun games and prizes for H+ users to enjoy. What do they get from it? Nothing. While all the other staff teams are given perks as a reward for their hard work and to keep them motivated, the Events teams have nothing! It is only the joy they get from hosting and seeing H+ users enjoy their games that keeps them going. So, make sure you appreciate the Events team and all the hours they spend planning events to keep H+ users entertained!

YOU WILL NEED A DEVICE THAT WILL BE ABLE TO TAKE PHOTOS IN ORDER TO PLAY.

If you're an unfamiliar face in the gamers community or someone whose time zone doesn't quite fit the usual games that are hosted, this is your chance to participate! The Scavenger Hunt will be open for 24 hours, meaning you can choose your own time to start the game!

This version is for those who want to dip their toe into our events, or those that may not want to fully commit to signing up for the game but would like to earn a couple of tickets for the lottery, are given the opportunity to "assist" players! So come and get yourself involved!

You can work individually or with another user (2 in a team).
If you are working in a team*, mention it when signing up or before the game begins.
No teams can be formed after this, and if your teammate fails to appear, you are still classed as a team.

*If you are working in a team you will receive full rewards except for the lottery tickets, which the amount will be split evenly.

When you sign up for the game or before the game begins, please post a photo of your username and the words “Happy Hallyuversary+!” written on a piece of paper/card/etc. This will be used to verify the validity of your responses.

All players, whether you play individually or in a team, MUST find at least 5 items on the list or they won’t be eligible for prizes listed below, including the +Card pack via RNG.

This game should be mobile friendly. Be sure you can upload your photos somewhere.

While the Scavenger Hunt is open for 24 hours, the time limit for the hunt will be 2 hours.

THE HOST IS BAYMAX, BUT STANNIE WILL SERVE AS AN ASSISTANT.
INCLUDE BOTH USERS IN YOUR PM TITLED ‘SCAVENGER HUNT - USERNAME’

The player’s time will start once a host sends over the list of items after the player/team creates a PM with the hosts and confirms their presence after a host asks if they are ready. So be vigilant as they may send you the list immediately or in 5 minutes.

Players are required to take photos and collect items around their house with points varying depending on the item(s). Even if you are unable to find everything, the game will end for you after your 2 hours are up.

You must send in your final list of all the items that you’ve found in ONE POST in the PM you created with the hosts, with your images preferably under a spoiler tag. In the case of reaching maximum photos in a post, share the image link. Questions can also be sent through this PM.

You can submit a google document too, but do not edit it if your time is up and/or after you submit your final list. If found that you have made changes to your list, i.e. added more to it, the hosts have the right to reduct 10 points from you.

You are allowed to use a separate PM and external platforms (i.e. discord DM) for discussions if you are in a team. ...and no, you don’t have to add the hosts to them, we trust you enough to hope there will be no foul play involved.

The placements are determined by the players with the most points accumulated from the items they found.

In case of a tie, it will be determined by the number of items found and then whoever used fewer assists. If more ties occur, the time you take will be considered, so if you decide to post your final list 20 minutes before your 2 hours are up, 1hrs 40mins will be the time it took you to do the hunt.

Some items will be harder to find which may require help!

Players can ask for assistance from non-players from the forums; players/teams are limited to two assists.

Non-players will have to create a sign of their username and add “assisted [user]” to it then send a PM titled [Scavenger Hunt - Assist] to the hosts of their assists. Non-players are allowed to assist up to 3 people but they would have to create a new sign each time for the different users they assist.

Make sure you tell the non-players this or else it won’t count.

Non-players will earn a ticket for each assist (so up to 3).

Despite the hunt being open for 24 hours, sign-ups are closed once the game begins, so please decide whether or not you want to participate in this.

When you are taking photos of your items, please ensure that your username is visible with the items.
Only use photos of your own; do not take images from the internet.

Please have good sportsmanship and do not cheat, this includes colluding with other players.

Keep the list a secret as some players will start later than you. You don’t want to give them an advantage, do you?

If you are in need of an assist, you are allowed to ask around, but please do not spam.
Only mention the item you need help with. If possible, try and be subtle when asking!

1st Place - 3 orbs, 30k coins, 40 elite points + 20 lottery tickets (10 per member in a team)

3rd Place - 2 orbs, 20k coins, 20 elite points + 10 lottery tickets (5 per member in a team)

This event will also give out a Pack of 1-2 Star +Cards to one of the users from the players' list via RNG.
