Intro

This is a game of trust, or lack thereof. Will you come out of the game believing in humanity again, or with friendships broken? :sehunehh:

How to Play

There will be 6 rounds. In each round, a certain number of "treasure boxes" will be available for grab. During the first phase, players will have 3-5 minutes to discuss among themselves. The players can say whatever they want in the thread, but they must let the GM know which box they’d like to take in their PM only.

Once the selection period is over, the moderator will reveal all of the choices publicly in the thread. Any players that choose a box not chosen by anyone else will get to keep all the “treasure”. Any players who pick the same box as another person will be forced to make a decision between Sharing (is caring) or Stealing (is thrilling). During this second phase, there will be 7-10 minutes for discussion before everyone must submit their choice in the PM.

Once all choices have been sent in, results will then be revealed. However, with some exceptions, the GM will only be revealing the choices, but not the players’ names (e.g. 3 players choose Sharing and 1 chooses Stealing).

Unless indicated by the GM, players ARE NOT allowed to message other players privately!

Resolution Process:

All want to share – the value of the treasure will be split equally among all
All want to steal – nobody will get a dime
Majority want to share – the sharers will get to split the treasure equally while the stealers have to pay a “fine” equal to the split amount (e.g. if the treasure value is 90 coins and there are 3 sharers, each sharer gets 30 coins, while each stealer pays 30 coins)
Majority want to steal – each of the stealers will get to keep the whole value of the treasure while the sharers will get nothing (e.g. if the treasure value is 100 coins, each stealer gets 100 coins without splitting)
Tie for both options – the stealers will get to split the treasure equally while the sharers will get nothing

Players with the most "treasures" at the end of the game win.

Please have good sportsmanship and do not cheat, this includes, but is not limited to, communicating with other players via PM when not allowed.

Please submit your response in a timely manner. Late submissions may not count, or result in the most adverse outcome.

Prize Distribution

Prizes may be subject to changes.

1st place - 4 orbs, 40k coins, and 40 Elite Gamer Points.
2nd place - 3 orbs, 30k coins, and 30 Elite Gamer Points.
3rd place - 2 orbs, 20k coins, and 20 Elite Gamer Points.
Participation - 40k coins, and 7 Elite Gamer Points.
