i became a kpop fan on may 9 2017 (yes i remember the date lol) when i saw blackpink in a react channel episode. i had known about kpop before that though but never really get into it

Ohh interesting! You've been a fan for quite a while then but I'm surprised a lot of the women in your lists are from more veteran groups that haven't been active since you joined. That was my favourite era of kpop so I approve, lots of great groups!

I assume you might've gotten into Tiffany, Krystal and CL from the older react channel videos? iirc they had some with IGAB, I Am The Best and maybe Hot Summer?

react is how i found a lot of groups tbh. shinee, 2ne1, snsd, bigbang, etc. i took a break from kpop for about a year (end of 2017 to end of 2018) and only really kept up with blackpink and winner (my at the time ult). "rediscovered" it and then got into way more artists.
