I need help with my hair.

So yesterday I noticed my hair is thinning so bad on one side, even my boyfriend said it looks bad.
Idk what's wrong with it I'm super scared it looks so uneven now and short and thin.

I had quite thick hair.. what could be causing this? .. I am scared to lose my hair.
Also I do straighten it A LOT and it was quite damaged but since I've been indoors I've not straightened it. I thought that would help but it's worse.

I bought heat protection and a hair mask today I just hope it fixes it.

EDIT; I just read sleeping on one side always can cause thinning - which I do.
I also recently got a new contraception.
I'm not stressed but obviously the virus is a thing rn so maybe I'm stressed without realising.

Just weird and scary how it's one side I'm only 26..

Good diet helps. You just have to be lacking in a single nutrient, and the hair can't be produced by the body fully. Also stress/hormomes I think?

My diet is good, I eat plenty of vegetables, meat, probably could eat a bit more dairy..
Idk if I'm stressed, I actually can't tell at this point

But it could also be oiliness or other things.

I've had it in only for a few weeks.. hopefully my hormones sort itself out.. I don't want to lose my hair.

Maybe you should try to find like a forum to ask hairdressers? :/
They probably are able to help and tell you wether it's that or something else
