Random question: Why are sometimes groups on these lists stated in their Hangul letters, but sometimes not? For example, I've always thought that "TWICE" are definitely "TWICE". They're not 트와이스, which is the Hangul for... tuh wa ee suh. Same for BLACKPINK. But in that list above, NCT is shown as NCT and so is ITZY and ABSIX. I'm confused! I know that BTS isn't really their name, a bit like SNSD isn't either. Then there is that category for groups which both have official Hangul and English names, like LOONA or WJSN.

In fact, when I look at that list more closely, aren't all of those groups officially named in "English" letters apart from BTS, WJSN, GFRIEND and (G)I-dle (who all have a sort-of backwards English transliteration).

I suppose the list is intended for Koreans who can't read any English letters. But if that were the case, why does it say NCT, ITZY and ABSIX? My head hurts!!
