Hello HallyuPlusers and welcome to this week's issue of In Case You Missed It! Did you miss our recap last Sunday? Well, we are back now, and it's time to take a look at all the news you might have missed and all those new releases we enjoyed!

MONDAY:
#1- After their special release last week, Weki Meki already got a new mini surprise for all the fans as the members Sei and Elly both opened their Instagram accounts! Don't forget to follow them, if you didn't already!

#2- Ong Seongwu really started this year with many new projects! He is now confirmed to appear on two SBS shows, "All The Butlers" and "Master In The House". We are looking forward to watch both!

#3- We now have to touch on Coronavirus news. Kim Min Ah was tested for the virus but luckily got negative results. Due to the ongoing pandemic, The Boyz, CIX, Red Velvet, NCT Dream, G(I)-DLE, ELRIS and BTS have all cancelled or postponed their schedules, while 2PM's Wooyoung was discharged from military earlier than expected because of it. TvN's "Salty Tour" will go on indefinite hiatus as well.

#5- Even though Twice's Tokyo Dome and Seoul concerts have been postponed, new interesting information was discovered! It looks like JYPE entered a strategic partnership with Republic Records for future Twice activities! What do you think about this?

#6- Konnect Entertainment has shared an update on their fight against malicious comments towards Kang Daniel, saying they won't stop suing all commenters and that a second investigation is already in progress. Hopefully, they will be all brought to justice.



TUESDAY:
#1- Some variety shows news to start off Tuesday! LOONA was announced to guest on Weekly Idol for the first time ever, while Monsta X will have their own show in collaboration with Twotuckgom! We will surely watch both!

#2- Good news for Laboum fans! Solbin was reported to be joining the upcoming drama "Convenience Store Saet Byul"! We can't wait to see her!

#3- BIGBANG's main vocalist, Taeyang, showed his angelic heart this Tuesday as we found out he donated 60 million won to "Love Snail" organisation for children and teenagers with hearing difficulties. Thank you, Taeyang!

#4- Seems like the Burning Sun scandal will never end and, on Tuesday, we found out the truth about Roy Kim and the sensitive content he had shared online. It's been explained that singer wasn't a member of Jung Joon Young's main chatroom, and the two of them only interacted in another chatroom, created to share their hobby of fishing. Roy Kim had re-posted one picture in there, only to state that it was photoshopped. We will stay updated on this matter.



WEDNESDAY:
#1- Wednesday started off really good as we found out about JBJ95 and NCT127's new concert tours. JBJ95 will perform in North America, while we still don't know where NCT127 will go. Hopefully, many fans will attend!

#2- Some good news for all the fans of Woollim Entertainment! The agency joined forces with Dalcomsoft to develop Superstar Woollim! We can't wait to play it and compete with fans!

#3- And finally, the full lineup of KCON 2020 in Japan was announced, as the third list dropped on Wednesday. Will you go and try to get a ticket?



THURSDAY:
#1- Among all news of cancellations, one coronavirus story warmed our hearts. Chinese singer and ex-nurse Mao Buyi said that, if needed, he would ask everyone to forget he is a star so he could go help Coronavirus patients. Isn't this so sweet?

#2- Adidas' running campaign will have visual ambassadors: Son Heungmin and Mamamoo's Hwasa! Well, if those two don't make us all want to run and work out, nothing will!

#3- This week, many people showed the goodness in their hearts. SM Entertainment, as well as their idols (including Red Velvet members with Wendy, Super Junior's Eunhyuk, and SNSD's Yoona) donated to the Community Chest of Korea, to support those affected by Coronavirus outbreak. Alongside them were other celebrities like Kang Daniel, Hyomin, Yoo Jae Suk, Gong Yoo, Park Bo Byung, Jung Woo Sung, and Kim Yuna with her fans donating to the cause. We thank them all!

#4- The star that everyone has been obsessing over lately, Kim Yohan, will be guesting on MBN's Variety Show "Naturally". It seems like we will all watch this together!

#5- Two anticipated dramas finally announced their cast: In "The Flower Of Evil", we will see Lee Joon Gi, Moon Chae Won, Jang Hee Jin, and Seo Hyun Woo while Kim Sohye and Lee Shin Young will be starring in "Friendship Contract"! We are interested to see how will both turn out!

#6- Some predicted this quite long ago, but we were still shocked to find out that YG will indeed be debuting a new girl group! What do you think about this?

#7- Even though iKONICS already knew this, ex-iKON's Hanbin was officially tested negative for drugs on Thursday. Maybe we are asking for too much, but let's all hope that this news will bring him back in the group!



FRIDAY:
#1- Two projects we are already familiar with got confirmed airing dates. Starting from March 6th, we will be able to watch JYPE's Nizi Project on Youtube, while Kang Daniel's solo reality show will begin broadcast on March 4th! March will indeed be busy, and we will love watching both shows!

#2- In order to communicate more with the fans, Nature's Kim Sohee has opened her own YouTube account! Let's anticipate her videos!

#3- Every international fan's favorite variety show, Arirang's "After School Club", got a new host: JXR's Yuri! We're excited to see him join the cast!



SATURDAY:
#1- Saturday brought very good news! Red Velvet's Wendy has been discharged from the hospital and will have an outpatient treatment! We wish her a speedy recovery!




SUNDAY:
#1- On Saturday, we got informed that one idol and their staff members had been tested for Coronavirus as they recently came back from Italy, and fans talked about the possibility of the idol being either Chungha or NU'EST's Minhyun . Pledis later announced that neither Minhyun or his staff members caught the virus, but MNH Entertainment sadly confirmed that two of their employees who work with Chungha were tested positive. As for the singer, she was tested negative. We still wish a speedy recovery to her staff members!

#2- In better news on the ongoing COVIC-19 pandemic, TvN has announced that a staff member of "Hi Bye Mama" has tested negative for the infection.

#3- To end this week away from all Coronavirus news, Baek Ji Young and Kim Jaehwan will be guesting on "Wanna Be Singers". Will you watch the episode?

#1-BTS - ON
BTS kept 2019 super busy with US promotions and a World tour, but we all missed their music in the meantime. Finally, our waiting has come to an end with the release of "Map Of The Soul: 7", their fourth full-length album. "ON" served as the album's lead track - it is an upbeat and inspiring song that brought us interesting parallels with famous movie classics. From "Noah's Ark" to "The Maze Runner", we have seen it all in BTS' interpretation. See how it all turned out and turn "ON" on!





#2-WEKI MEKI - DAZZLE DAZZLE
The girls of Weki Meki sent a very clear message to all the people that want to be with them: dazzle them! For the group's special single, the first of this year, they choose "Dazzle Dazzle" and announced a year full of bops. From the very beginning, the song goes hard, slowing down only to showcase the members' sweet voices until it transforms into an addictive, repetitive chorus. Rich sound and vocals, sparkly jewels in the music video and gorgeous girls, Weki Meki went all out, so let yourself be dazzled too!





#3-IZ*ONE - FIESTA
After a few months of forced hiatus due to the Produce series’ scandal, it was announced that the twelve members of IZ*ONE would keep performing together until the end of their contract. To their fans’ delight, the group finally came back on February 17th with their first studio album "BLOOM*IZ" and its lead single, "Fiesta". If you read the description that comes with the music video, you’ll learn that “FIESTA” represents the members’ efforts to turn their dreams into reality and shows how they’ve evolved with time, just like blooming flowers. If you missed IZ*ONE, you will definitely enjoy this upbeat track and want to dance along…if you can keep the rhythm!





#4-DONGHAE - HARMONY FT.BEWHY
Amidst busy schedules with the group, Super Junior's Donghae found time and made his official solo debut with "Harmony", in collaboration with rapper Bewhy. You surely thought that in KPOP you have seen the explosion of all music genres, but do you remember when was the last time you heard a Korean gospel song? Donghae brought us exactly that, putting all his deepest feelings about faith and life into the song. Are you ready to hear a soulful combination of heavenly vocals and soft rapping? Give it a listen down below!





#5-RAVI - ROCKSTAR FT. PALOALTO
After creating his own label in mid-2019, VIXX's Ravi made his first comeback under it with the full-length album "El Dorado" and its fronting single, "Rockstar". Ravi went more experimental with this release, so he offered rock and hip-hop elements with dramatic twists and a repetitive catchy chorus. The song is accompanied with an aesthetically dark music video where he takes turns from being a motorhead to the "baddest" rockstar covered in leather clothes. Needless to say, he looked really handsome in both versions, winning our hearts all over again. Don't miss out on this chance to be charmed by this rockstar!




#6-ELRIS - JACKPOT
Elris made their comeback this week with their 4th mini-album, "Jackpot" and the title song of the same name. This was a special comeback for all the fans as we have seen the two new members, EJ and Chaejeong, performing for the first time with the rest. The song is a catchy, upbeat and cheerful track featuring all of the members' sweetest voices. We clearly got a jackpot with these girls! Did you already give it a listen?




#7-BASI - MONTHLY FT. SORAON
Basi and Soraon always know a good way to surprise their fans. In this collaboration, "Monthly", they introduced us to a rather melancholic mood, made us think of sitting in the car, head against the window and watching the rain falling while thinking of various scenarios. Right as you get into the feeling, the song takes an interesting turn and rapping become harder, more powerful, while instrumentals are left the same. This release left us wondering about each coming part of the song. What was so interesting? See for yourself when you watch this video!




#8-SPECTRUM - SHOWTIME
Spectrum came back after almost a year with the "0325" single album and its lead single, "Showtime"! These boys surprised us with their mature, bolder side and sexy choreography. The song holds a beautiful and inspiring message of determination to fly and reach the sky because the boys are more motivated than ever in this new look. Do you need motivation too, do you want to reach the sky? You can do all that with Spectrum!




#9-HENRY - THINKING OF YOU
We might be used to Henry's usual ballad sound, but he proved again to be one versatile musician. His digital single, "Thinking Of You" is a rather sweet, refreshing song in which he confessed his feelings to a loved one while getting ready to meet them for a date. Henry, of course, can't go without his signature violins and guitars sound, so instrumentals remained his usual truly. Feel Henry's love through this song down below!

We asked everyone to vote for the user they think deserves User of the Month for March 2020, and the winner will be announced in just a few hours!

Here are all the awards that were added to the system this week! You can request them here (don't forget to follow the instructions in the OP)!

Kyon tested everyone of their knowledge of romance movies in "What is Love?". The game was won by Saint Renjun who guessed everything with only one hint!

AKID❀KI gave players a hard time and made them guess which couples were featured in her "OTP Game". Panda eventually took first place with 19 points!

Beefy and miatheikonic dominated Riri's "Sugar Rush" game by gaining and stealing candies and reached a total of 28 candies!

BlueNose read the pulse of the majority in AKID❀KI's "Valentines Feud" and won the game!

After a series of psychological games tournament-style, Kyon took his first win in a long time in soozie's "Rock Paper Scissors"!

Rinoa was able to accurately predict the majority's choices in AKID❀KI's "Majority Rules" game, and eventually became the winner!

As per usual, roseychu hosted her Monthly Orb Giveaway for February. If you still haven't entered, you can still join until March 4th at 11:59PM KST!
