MONDAY:
#1- Monday started with good news: three groups will be dropping new music very soon! First on the list, A.C.E will be releasing their 3rd mini album on October 29. Fly To The Sky also announced their next full album for this month - it'll feature multiple artists, such as MFBTY, MIIII, Ailee, Gilgu Bonggu and Baek A Yeon. Last but not least, Victon will be coming back on November 4th, and even though only 6 members will participate, we are still very excited!

#2- B1A4's Gongchan will reportedly be making his movie debut! The idol will be making his first appearance in a movie titled 'Youngsoo'. We are proud and ecstatic about his appearance!

#3- Great news for f(x) fans: Luna has signed an exclusive contract with HUMAP CONTENTS! We wish her the best luck with this new company!

#4- In addition to the rigging scandal involving the Produce franchise, others have come under scrutiny, including Mnet's other program "Idol School". A former contestant has recently come forward and claimed that 8/9 members of fromis_9 had already signed with CJ ENM prior to the show's beginning. To add, Lee Haein exposed horrible treatment within the show, which went from trainees being starved to terrible sleeping conditions. Please go check out the thread linked for more information!

#5- The members of BTS have been selected as the models of vitamin brand Lemona! Another piece of exciting news for the global sensation is that they have announced the opening of a pop-up store in Seoul! Armys must be very happy!

TUESDAY:
#1- Some shocking announcements for Nature fans were made on Tuesday. After being told that Nature's Gaga has left the group to pursue her education in China, we learnt that Produce 101's Kim Sohee has been chosen to replace her! We wish the best to Gaga, and congratulate Sohee for her re-debut! To tie it all together, the group revealed that they would be having a comeback next month. That was a lot to take in at once!

#2-EXO's new Japanese single "Bird" was announced on October 8th and released two days later, on October 10th. Did you enjoy the song? Tell us in the comments!

#3- Seoul is seeking to build its first concert hall solely dedicated to K-POP, which will be called the "Seoul Arena"! Officials are discussing gaining investments from multiple companies and are aiming to open the hall by June of 2024. Are you excited to see this building come to fruition?

#4- The Nation's MC Yoo Jaesuk has donated 50 million won to support victims of Typhoon Mitag. We commend him for such an amazing act of kindness!

#5- During an interview, GOT7's Jackson Wang came forward and
revealed that he has suffered from depression. His wish was to give strength to the fans that are struggling with their own mental health. We admire his courage to speak up, thank him for being this thoughtful and hope he is now feeling better.

#6- We finish this recap with unfortunate news. Momoland fans are worried about member Daisy after her mother's social media posts, as the latter expressed on Tuesday that she missed seeing Daisy's smile. She also alluded that other member Taeha and her daughter's hiatus is not due to health or personal reasons, but "something else". Momoland's company has yet to release a statement on these revelations.

WEDNESDAY:
#1- Soloist Jeong Sewoon has gotten his first music show win two years after his debut with his track 'When It Rains'! Congratulations to him!

#2- Hip-Hop artist and producer Primary got married to model Nam Bora! We wish the best to them for this new chapter of their lives!

#3- Are you a Once? Do you like playing Just Dance? If the answer is yes, we have great news for you: Twice's Fancy will be available in 'Just Dance 2020'! Now Hallyplusers, are you ready to dance the night away?

#4- Legendary J-pop group Arashi has officially opened a Youtube Channel and joined Spotify! The group has already posted five videos on their channel, so make sure to check them out!

THURSDAY:
#1- Takeuchi Miyu will be releasing a song in collaboration with Monthly Yoon Jong Shin on October 16th! We have been highly anticipating her debut in Korea for quite a while, so we are extremely excited and looking forward to it!

#4- The movie
"The Fault is Not Yours" starring IZ*ONE's Minju will be released in theaters in November! We cannot wait to watch it!

#5- Now, some rather odd news: School Rapper 2 contestant Minty's label has finally come forward to address her age controversy. It was recently revealed that Minty (who claimed to be born in 2002) was actually 26 years old, making the age gap a startling 10 years. We are all very surprised and impressed she was able to get away with the lie for so long. Some other details of Minty's career before School rapper are also included in the linked thread, so check it out!

FRIDAY:
#1- To our absolute delight, Eric Nam revealed that he would release a new album very soon! Though we only have very little information, we are looking forward to this release!

#2- Jessica Jung will publish her first young adult novel '"Shine" in the fall of 2020! It will tell the story of a Korean-American teenager who is training to become the next big K-pop star! It is also planned to be turned into a movie. Are you excited about her future book?

#3- EXID's Hani has officially joined Sublime Artist Agency! Rumours started to spread earlier this week, but she was in still discussion with the company at that time and confirmation was only made on Friday. She will work alongside T-ARA's Hyomin and Pristin's Nayoung. We wish her the best in her future endeavors!

#4- LA Dodger's pitcher Ryu Hyunjin and sportscaster Bae Jihyun are expecting a baby! They've shared that Jihyun is six weeks pregnant and will give birth in May or June of 2020. And surprisingly, another pregnancy was announced on this day, as Ex-Rania member Saem also revealed on Instagram that she is
expecting! We congratulate the future parents on the absolutely amazing news!

#5- Earlier this month, Ena Matsuoka of the girl group Tenshitsukinukeniyomi was involved in a horrifying incident. We learnt shocking details about the attack on Friday: an obsessed fan stalked and followed her home... after gaining information about her location through the reflection in her eye on a social media post. We hope she is now doing fine after such a traumatic experience.

SATURDAY:
#1- In recent news, YG has returned to Instagram on Saturday. His first post back was a picture of him attending Kwon Dami (G-Dragon's sister)'s wedding. Are you surprised about seeing him on social media again this fast?

#2- Another couple tied the knot this week: Kangnam and Olympic champion Lee Sanghwa are now officially married! Congratulations to the beautiful couple!

#3- Here's exciting news for Weishennies! WayV has revealed that their upcoming album will include a song in English! During a recent Vlive, the group shared that it will be a gift to their international fans. We are looking forward to the song!

SUNDAY:
#1- WJSN's Eunseo will be working as an MC for "Get It Beauty 2019"! She shared her excitement about joining the show, as she's been an avid watcher of it for a long time. Congratulations to her!

#1- ATEEZ - WONDERLAND
Rising KQ entertainment group Ateez is back with their 1st full length album and its title track "Wonderland"! After ventures into the softer sounds of tropical pop, Ateez is back to their original hip hop and EDM-influenced music. Their energetic dance moves and sturdy rapping captured our attention, as well as their powerful and alluring MV. We are sure you will dance all day long to this song too, so check it out!

#2- STRAY KIDS - DOUBLE KNOT
Stray Kids came back on Wednesday with their digital single "Double Knot"! With this release, the talented boys offer more than their recognizable hip hop style - trap and EDM lovers will be able to find something for themselves too. 3RACHA, the group's rapping and writing trio, stands behind the song's memorable composition and inspiring lyrics about determination. Keep running forward with Stray Kids!

#3- KIM JIYEON/KEI - I GO
After countless OSTs and singing engagements, Lovelyz' main vocalist Kei finally got her long-awaited chance for a solo debut! "I Go", which was released on Tuesday, serves as the title track for her first mini album "Over and Over". The combination of her emotionally-driven voice with piano and string instruments is sure to make you fall in love with this song, so give it a chance!

#4- THE RAMPAGE FROM EXILE TRIBE - MOVE THE WORLD
The boys of Exile Tribe are back! This time, it's The Rampage's turn to show off their skills with their 2nd studio album "The Riot". Similar to what the album's name suggests, the lead single "Move The World" exudes the energy to try and change the world with one's hands. After hearing this strong and moving message and the addictive reggae rhythm that comes with it, you'll make sure to find a spot for this song on your playlist!

#5- JUNG DAEHYUN - AIGHT
Ex-B.A.P member Jung Daehyun released his new single album "Aight" on Friday! After a series of ballads, Daehyun decided to surprise his fans with an upbeat pop track and proves how versatile he is. His recognizable, powerful high notes and mesmerizing vocals go wonderfully with his rapping, dance moves and the breathtaking visuals we can see in the music video. See for yourself how this main vocal has transformed into a main rapper and dancer!

#6- ENNO CHENG - AT A RAINY NIGHT (WOULD YOU WALK ME HOME?) FT. HSIEN CHING
After a long wait, fans of Enno Cheng's music can finally enjoy her new release "At a Rainy Night (Would You Walk Me Home?)"! For this song, she paired up her soothing vocals with Hsien Ching's soft rapping for a complete indie experience. Their voices perfectly harmonize with the synthesizer, guitar and drums in the background, making this song suitable for fall and its cold rainy days. Let Enno Cheng warm you up with this song!

#7- LADIES' CODE - SET ME FREE
Ladies' Code is back with their fourth studio album "CODE#3: Set Me Free"! Their title track (also called "Set Me Free"), which combines funky and trap beats, proves once more that the three girls are the true queens of retro. While the lyrics talk about wanting to escape monotony, we get to witness a fun night in a casino in the music video. It's time to join them in their quest for freedom!

#8- ONF - WHY
ONF overcame the hardships they encountered this year and released their 4th mini album "Go Live" on Monday! "Why", which serves as its title track, shows that the group wants to keep up with darker concepts. The song's interesting composition caught our attention - it first lingers between a moody ballad and electronic dance sounds, and goes more and more EDM as the beat gets more aggressive, perfectly suiting the group's powerful rapping and soft vocals. See for yourself how these boys managed to present both of their sides!

#9- HEIZE - FALLING LEAVES ARE BEAUTIFUL
The queen of ballads is back! Heize released her 5th mini album "Late Autumn" and its lead single "Falling Leaves Are Beautiful" on Sunday. Her beautiful voice, which perfectly matches the song's soft instrumentals, is perfect for the season. The track comes with an aesthetic music video that you are sure to enjoy. Get warmed up with Heize's new release by clicking on the video below!

#10- BiSH - RHYTHM
BiSH made another powerful comeback! The girls dropped their new song "Rhythm" on Friday, and as usual they didn't disappoint. This metal-like ballad starts with a beautiful piano melody and soft vocals, later turning into a heartbreaking chorus accompanied with strong guitar riffs and drums. "Rhythm" is definitely worth checking out!

#1 - For the first time in their career, AKMU has finally achieved a Perfect All-Kill! "How Can I Love The Heartbreak, You're The One I Love" is now the third song this year to achieve a PAK, after "Boy with Luv" and "Working". They truly deserve it after giving us so many good songs!

#2 - J-Hope's "Chicken Noodle Soup" featuring Becky G
debuted at #81 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart this week! J-Hope is now the third Korean solo artist to achieve this feat.

#3 - This week, we have several music videos that reached certain YouTube views milestones!
In just 190 days, IZ*ONE's "Violeta"
has surpassed 50 million views! It is their second music video to hit this milestone.
Red Velvet's
"Really Bad Boy" has also hit 50 million views, making it their eleventh music video to do so!
Despite the initial reactions towards it,
NCT 127's "Wakey Wakey" has hit 25 million views!
Lastly, Hyuna's "Roll Deep"
has reached 100 million views, making it her third music video to reach the milestone!

#4 - ATEEZ's fandom continues to grow as
"TREASURE EP.FIN: All To Action" sold more than 29,000 copies on its first day! It has more than doubled their previous album's record of 13,000+ copies! Will they be able to repeat this achievement with their next album as well?

#5 -
Gaon has awarded several certifications for the month of September!
For album sales, X1's "Quantum Leap" is now certified double platinum, and IZ*ONE's "HEART*IZ" received platinum certification!
For downloads, Paul Kim's "Me After You" is now certified platinum after almost a year since its release.
For streaming, BTS' "Boy With Luv", TWICE's "What is Love?", Lim Jaehyun's "If There Was Practice In Love" and Yang Dail's "Sorry" all received platinum certification!
We congratulate all the artists!

#6 - Seventeen's "An Ode"
has now crossed 800,000 combined copies sold on Gaon, making it the best-selling album of the group and the second best-selling album of this year so far. This also makes Seventeen the 3rd K-pop group to sell more than 800,000 copies of their album on Gaon! We are thoroughly impressed by the speed of the group's growth!

#7 - IZ*ONE's latest Japanese single "Vampire" is now certified gold by the RIAJ! Hopefully it will reach platinum certification—like the singles before it—soon!

Thanks as always to everyone who contributed to this. I really appreciate all your efforts. :heartublob:

I'm in love with the Hallyuween theme and badges, the graphics team did really well to get me in the spoopy season as well as the events team with their upcoming events; I'm looking forward to seeing how things unfold!

Talking about the staff song picks... thanks for all the song recommendations! There was definitely some I've never heard before and I liked being exposed to different music, especially Japanese music. I might listen to BiSH more because the song posted here is really nice, and when I was listening to the playlist, I enjoyed their song that was added there too.

#2- Jessica Jung will publish her first young adult novel '"Shine" in the fall of 2020! It will tell the story of a Korean-American teenager who is training to become the next big K-pop star! It is also planned to be turned into a movie. Are you excited about her future book?

:lurk1: I'm not sure about reading the book but I'll definitely watch the film. This is going to be some fanfic coming to life.

The link for this one is linked to something else. :omgwhat:
