He/Him
Surging, an uncontrollable thirst for blood
the flood of all floods
rotting my inner sanctum from the inside out
none so bright, no such light
waking from disillusion
and into disheartened feelings
the feelings of a struggle I cannot even fathom
the feelings of a struggle I cannot even see
I believe there is a way out
but it comes with a cost
to take my own life
under the knife
a surgical steel
a steel will
wrapped in a cocoon of doom
of gloom and hopelessness
my heart burns with a unholy fire
a fire that cannot be quenched
it feeds on the night
it feeds on the night
none so bright, no such light
as the white crimson in my eyes
that lets me view a never-ending cinema
of death and violence
of wrath and roses bleeding
always feeding the darkness
as it needs nourishment
like the voices in my head
they require conversation
less I be punished
punished by psychosis
punished by visions
colours light up my sky
yellow gold woven in a glass house
my house is my mind
the doors are always closed
closed off to reality
a reality I strive for
but always hide from
Not all of us were created equal
what is equality
when diversion divides us
and enshrines us
to our own failings
to our own sins
