Taiwanese actress Joe Chen can’t wait to fall in love again. The 40-year-old, who has been single for the past six years, will be appearing on the second season of the reality show Meeting Mr Right. The show focuses on the premise of “fathers watching their daughters find love”, and will feature Joe’s father as well.
In a short video released by the production team recently, Joe attributed her lack of a love life to the fact that she had been too busy focusing on her career.
“I really haven’t found a suitable match, someone with whom I can get into a relationship with,” she sighed.
However, it appears that she has not given up on love just yet, as she exclaims in her very next sentence, “I'm already 40! I should try to get into a relationship (again).”
Joe’s father also urged his daughter to “spend more time making friends”, mirroring her intention of joining the show.
Joe also let on that her ideal type is someone who "looks like a good student".
