GAME+ Jukebox - Starts 13th April 12pm EDT (4PM UTC)

Do you think you know a lot of great songs?
Are you willing to explore new territory?
Then come and join Jukebox.
A music game with a twist.
Do you think you can win?

There will be 10 rounds.

Each Round will give two themes.
Contestants can only submit a song for one of the themes via a form (not both)
They are not allowed to inform anyone which song and theme they are submitting for.
They will have 20 hours to submit their song.

Once a submission is done, scoring will begin.
They will be given two scoring forms( one for each theme).
They need to score both.
They need to rank each song according to how it fits the theme and whether they like it. Unless it is a music video round, music videos should not be counted.
When scoring a form,t they need to give their song a 1 (the lowest score).
All the necessary instructions are on the form. Make sure to read it before scoring the entries.
They cannot give the same score to more than one player.
They will have 20 hours to submit their scores.

The round winner will be the player with the highest average score (total number of points divided by the number of entries for the theme).
They will then be allowed to pick one theme for the next round
(this would not be given for the winner of round 8 as Round 9 and 10 will be the semi-final and final round).

If a player wins two rounds in a row, they can bottleneck a player of their choice by
A. Limiting the player to five artists of the winner's choice - the song they submit has to be a song that belongs to one of these artists.
B. Their song needs to include a specific musical instrument or word.
All bottlenecks will be sent via pm. And players are expected to not disclose if they were bottlenecked until scoring for that round is over.
(Bottlenecks won't be given as prizes in the semi-final. But if a person wins the 7th and 8th round, they can choose to bottleneck one of the players in the semi-final. Though then they will not be able to vote for the jukebox battle that the player is playing in).

At the end of 8 rounds. The Top 4 Players with the highest cumulative average scores, will advance to the semi-finals.
In the semi-finals, there will be two jukebox battles according to the standings.
Player 1 vs Player 4
Player 2 vs Player 3

They will then be given a theme each.
And the rest of the players who did not reach this round will vote for the entries they like better
The winners of both battles will then head to the finals, and the losers will have a tiebreaker.
Once again the players will be judging, but this time the gm will judge too.

If a player is late to submit but submits within 1 hour after the deadline. They will lose 2 points off their round average score.
If a player fails to submit their song, they still need to score the other entries, as if they do not submit scores, they will lose 5 points off their total cumulative scores.
Each theme will also have a song selected by the GM.
Those who score more than the gm's song will be rewarded with 1 point added to their average scores.

You are not allowed to reveal or hint what your song is to anyone on any platform.

If submitting music videos, they are not supposed to have scenes of nudity.

You can repeat an artist twice. But not more than that.

You cannot submit the same song that you or someone else submitted before.

You are not allowed to reveal if you were bottlenecked until the scoring for the round is over.

All Languages are allowed unless the round theme is language-specific. If you submit a non-english song, you need to submit Lyrics in English.

Make sure when mentioning the Artist Name and Name of the Song, that the spelling is correct. As in case, your video link does not work the player will need to search for the song elsewhere.

Do not cheat. If players are found to have cheated they will be disqualified and will receive a 3-month game ban.

Remember to submit on time. Entries sent in after the extra one hour will not be counted.

In case of a tie those with the highest number of maximum scores for a round will win. If that is also a tie, then the next highest number will be counted and so on.

Do not harass or be rude to other players.

It's time to get ready to dance!
The two themes are as follows.
They only relate to the song, not the music video.

Theme 1 - Eurodance
It is a genre of electronic dance music that originated in the late 1980s in Europe. It combines many elements of hip hop, techno, Hi-NRG, house music, and Euro disco. This genre of music is heavily influenced by the use of rich vocals, sometimes with rapped verses.

It is a genre of dance music and a subculture that emerged in the 1970s from the United States' urban nightlife scene. Its sound is typified by four-on-the-floor beats, syncopated basslines, string sections, horns, electric piano, synthesizers, and electric rhythm guitars.
