Let's debut soon! At least in the next 3 years (2023).

But she still can debut. Nayeon, Yeji and Lia debuted with 20 y.o too, they being the olders.
Yeji and Lia debuted at the age of 19. Most Idol trainees do not like it to waist 4-6 Years of their lives and to debut just at 20 Years old. It bites them back. Male idols Wait for a few years to get into Military and be non-Active for 1.5-2 Years. And female idols get easily replaced by young female Idols.

and more idols are debuting younger and younger. ITZY isn’t a Main gg, They do not have the GP friendly concept, and most Main groups of Agencies have large numbers in their groups. JYP wants ITZY to experiment (in a Similar way like Miss A, F(x), and Red Velvet). He wants ITZY to do the things TWICE coudlnt do as the Main gg of JYP, Having different sounds every comeback, Having a Girl crush/Teen Crush concept, and not necessarily having a GP friendly Concept.
This GG is the Ndxt main gg of JYP, Going against the other huge GG’s of Other Agencies who are thriving to have the top GG of the 4TH Generation (SM, BIGHIT, and More).

Well, they debuted with 19 but in the year where they would turn 20, so they are still 20 years between their birth and their debut.

That doesn’t change their Age debut, they debuted at 19 Years old. Jungkook of BTS debuted at 15 Years old (he was 16 that Year), Taemin debuted at 14 Years old (was 15 that year), Krystal debuted at the age of 14 (and she turned 15 a month Later) TWICE Jeongyeon, Momo and Sana debuted at the age of 18 (they turned 19 1-2 Months later).

It's fine that they debut older. I think it's better for the idols in the long run, as they would have gained more maturity to be able to handle the harsh realities of being an idol. Also, many successful idols debuted at an older age - Irene & Solar at around 24, GD's SoJin at 25, and Park Bom and Sandara at 26.

While every individual is different, the fate of Sulli , Hara and many other celebrities that debuted at a young age should at least make us pause and seriously consider not rushing a trainee's debut.

I agree with this though! But The amount of times Irene Solar and Bom have been called old hags is hurtful. They can’t catch a breath because their age is mentioned since the days they have debuted. Even Irene looks youthful but she always gets the “You’re too old to be a an idol” Sentence thrown at her by journalists and others.

Yeah, you also had YG telling that girl on Mix9 that she was too old to be an idol as well. Hopefully attitudes will change, especially with Gen 1 GGs reuniting for comebacks like FinKL and SES. SNSD is (mostly) still together, and I'm hoping for Twice to re-sign when their 7yrs are up, and Nabongs by then will be one of the real seniors among female idols LOL.

Lol, knets think anyone approaching 30 is geriatric, even non-idols; I wouldn’t put much weight into their words.

Lmao No. They only do this against woman and female celebrities. You won’t hear a Male idol getting called an old hag. They’ll praise them.
