Maybe they do exhausting choreography it compromise their ability to sing live?
I've been watching some J-POP idols singing live and they seem much stable than KPOP. Like Johnny's and AKB48 groups. Granted they don't dance too much though.

GuestThese days people cares more about coreographies than songs. In the 1st and 2nd generation dances weren't too relevant.

It's difficult to sing when you're performing an intense choreo.
As for JPOP vs KPOP, JPOP idols are usually don't sing as well, and even among J-idols there's quite a bit of lipsyncing.

Yes and most of them look like dance crews instead of performers
I have nothing against complexity in general but I prefer the expressiveness and the right moves that suit the lyrics and melody.
Maybe this is why I love spring day and fake love choreos the most

Yeah id say so too but I also think they do this in order to stand out because of the big number of idols nowadays everyone tries to stand out more than the other while the bigger groups like TWICE, BTS etc they have more creative choreos that moves with the song instead of a hardcore dance im not saying thats a bad thing i do enjoy to watch those choreos but i do think competition is part of the reasonYes and most of them look like dance crews instead of performers

I love complex choreos but i feel pity for my faves because during the concerts you can see the strugle.

Nugusinging with any choreo is difficult. even walking during singing is difficult for someone who doesn't have good stamina. ppl give too much credit for being stable when it's really not about someone's singing skills.

yes
I mean, there's nothing wrong with an intense dance during a break or something ;; but I feel like some choreos are too hard during singing parts
