LiSA to sing 'HADASHi NO STEP' for drama 'Promise Cinderella'

The theme song for the TBS drama 'Promise Cinderella' has been revealed to be LiSA's "HADASHi NO STEP."

Based on a manga by Tachibana Oreko, the drama will tell the story of Katsuragi Hayame (Nikaido Fumi), a woman in her thirties whose husband suddenly informs her that he wants a divorce leaving her homeless and penniless. She then meets a wealthy high school student named Kataoka Issei (Maeda Gordon) who asks her to play a real game of life.

"HADASHi NO STEP" was written by LiSA, composed by Tabuchi Tomoya (UNISON SQUARE GARDEN), and arranged by Shimada Masanori. Nikaido, who got to listen to the song beforehand, commented, "I thought it was wonderful that that there are a lot of words that speak on the behalf of my character Hayame's emotions. The song begins with excitement followed by an unpredictable melody. It synchronizes with the beginning of the real game of life that Hayame starts by tossing the dice. I felt it's a very appropriate theme song for this drama."

'Promise Cinderella' is scheduled to premiere on July 13.
