To encourage interaction, I will be rewarding the best comment with ⨭10,000!
The winner will be announced in my next episode.

Before everything, I'll announce the winner for my
previous episode's best comment!
Congratulations! You win ⨭10,000!

For my third episode, I decided to do a timeless classic

So many faces, so many races
Different voices, different choices
Some are mad, while others laugh
Some live alone with no better half
Others grieve while others curse
And others mourn behind a big black hearse
Some are pure and some half-bred
Some are sober and some are wasted
Some are rich because of fate and
Some are poor with no food on their plate
Some stand out while others blend
Some are fat and stout while some are thin
Some are friends and some are foes
Some have some while some have most
Every color and every hue
Is represented by me and you
Take a slide in the slope
Take a look in the kaleidoscope
Spinnin' round, make it twirl
In this kaleidoscope world
Some are great and some are few
Others lie while some tell the truth
Some say poems and some do sing
Others sing through their guitar strings
Some know it all while some act dumb
Let the bassline strum to the bang of the drum
Some can swim while some will sink
And some will find their minds and think
Others walk while others run
You can't talk peace and have a gun
Some are hurt and start to cry
Don't ask me how don't ask me why
Some are friends and some are foes
Some have some while some have most
Every color and every hue
Is represented by me and you
Take a slide in the slope
Take a look in the kaleidoscope
Spinnin' round, make it twirl
In this kaleidoscope world

This song is one of the biggest and most popular songs of the late legendary Filipino rapper, Francis Magalona. The rapper was known as the first Filipino rapper to cross into mainstream and pioneered the fusion of rap with Filipino rock. His songs were always full of messages for his countrymen. In this timeless classic, the rapper sings about equality. He likens people to the colors of a kaleidoscope, each color is different from one another but they're all part of one whole. Once the colors are combined, it becomes a beautiful scene. The rapper was able to send a very deep message, "every color and every hue is represented by me and you" while making it catchy and memorable for the listener. He further re-establishes his message with "spinnin' round" which symbolizes that no one is above or below in the "kaleidoscope world".

i think i like this song the most so far, i love a good guitar :wow:
the song is really relatable. it feels like he just describes what he sees. We're all different, yet somehow we share so many qualities. I used to be obsessed with kaleidoscopes, so im biased for the reference lol.

Thank you for the coins Melt :peepopbirthday:

I like the instrumentals of this song, and was surprised to hear him speaking/singing in English rather than in Tagalog. I think it's unique how he chooses to 'rap' in a speaking style. At first I thought it was strange, but I think it greatly contributes to the message he's trying to share through the song.
