MHJ Files Lawsuit Against Belift Labs & Hybe

MHJ said as soon as she’s quitting she’s suing everyone and she wasn’t kidding.

MHJ has currently filed a lawsuit against various Belift Lab executives and Hybe’s COO for defamation. She is currently seeking 5 billion won (around 3,571,000 USD) in compensation.

Meanwhile, Belift labs currently has a lawsuit trial against MHJ starting in January + a separate defamation trial against her who’s trial date is TBA. In the January trial belift is asking for 2 billion won in compensation, and I’m not sure how much they are asking for the defamation one.

Here is MHJ’s lawyers statement:​

Former CEO Min Hee-jin sued Belift Lab CEO Kim Tae-ho, Choi Yoon-hyuk, Heo Se-ryun, Lee Ga-jun, etc. to the Yongsan Police Station today (22nd) on charges of defamation under the Information and Communication Network Act. In addition, we will file a lawsuit against Belift Lab for damages of 5 billion won.

CEO Kim Tae-ho unplied that former CEO Min Hee-jin delayed the civil lawsuit filed by Beloit Lab, which is an obvious false fact. In the first pleading to be held in January next year, the anti-complaint raised by former CEO Min Hee-jin is expected to be heard together, so please work faithfully.

CEO Kim Tae-ho and others have spread a lot of false facts through a YouTube video on June 10 and a statement on October 7. I hope that they will be given a criminal punishment corresponding to the crime and that the liability for damages will be recognized.

I feel like we need some PEMDAS to go on and if everyone is suing everyone for the same things they just cancel each other out and no more lawsuits.
