127's digital performance was already a great improvement for an NCT group so it'll be amazing if Dream can top that
well i mean, dream's digital performance has always been slightly better than 127 with more casual listeners, more public friendly songs and their kfanbase if just as, if not stronger than 127. and seeing as how the charts are still weird cause of the pandemic, i think dream could get another top 10 debut for nct and possibly even peak at #1?? ofc, their biggest enemy is sm, like 2 weeks announcement compared to 127's whole roll-out?
Also seeing as how a 7dream full album isn't totally far-fetched now, I think when it does (hopefully) happen, they would be nct's first million seller. Either that or 127's next full album. praying that neo zone wasn't just an anomaly
I also think that 127 is going to start going the EXO route with a full album + repack every year from now on. I think I like that better than them releasing two mini albums. Sales will be higher too.

Oh wow! Honestly, I think that they will outsell 127 on Hanteo but lose out on Gaon because SM unfortunately won't stock it enough for retailers. The large gap between Hanteo and Gaon for Neo Zone still bothers me tho
A big chunk of that gap for NEO ZONE is due to Amazon(& other U.S store) sales as well as those tour bundles.
hmm weren’t their America units only about 100k though? and that includes streaming but I don’t really understand how American charts work lol.
I saw a chart the other day and their Hanteo and Gaon difference is almost as large as BTS’s gap even though BTS outsold them 5 times. I’ve never seen a gap as large as Neo Zone’s.

the gap was super large for SuperM as well due to the same things kakarotto mentioned, it's just SM and Capitol's new marketing strategies. Even though Capitol is technically not involved in NCT 127's Korean promos, I'm pretty sure SM learned from them and is using the same methods
That's true but I do remember one of Red Velvet's albums had a large Hanteo-Gaon gap and then ended up getting a lot of returns on Gaon. Hoping that there won't be too many for Neo Zone.
I'm actually speechless! We're getting that 500k! I hope SM announced pre-order numbers before the album drops!
