Today is the Gorgeous Grandma Day. A day to show love for all your gorgeous grandmas and appreciate them. So make sure to tell your granny that she looks amazing and that you love her. Now in the pop culture, we always have idols who we think are like grandmas. Adorable, a bit clumsy, probably forgetful but very much loved. Someone who keeps the team together while making sure everyone is alright, even if they are a bit outdated with current trends. So here are the 5 most Gorgeous grandmas in Asian pop!



#1: Red Velvet's Irene
Every reveluv would agree, Irene is the group's beloved grandma. She might look reserved and silent but when she gets going... nothing can stop her. From walking in the wrong direction enough times to earn compilation videos to being the most caring leader who is always there for her members, she really is the grandma of the group. Her laughter rings of sweetness and cheer. Just look at her smile, and you will feel so warm and comforted. Of course like a Grandma she dances impromptu with enthusiasm even if it is.... not the best.

But you have to agree, it is cute!

#2: SNSD's Taeyeon
When you think about idols who are grandma like, one of the first people who come to mind is Taeyeon. The amazingly talented main vocalist of SNSD has been in the industry for more than a decade now and has earned the adorable nickname of grandma from fans. Known for being a House Butterfly, Taeyeon tends to be someone who prefers staying indoors than outdoors. She also looks after her group and is known for having funny grandma like expressions. You have to agree that the ones below are so derpy and cute.

Plus like grandmas tend to forget some things that might be important, Taeyeon tends to forget some things too.

#3: Twice's Nayeon
Nayeon is known for many things: gorgeous vocals, beautiful visuals and a sterling reputation for being a granny. Onces agree, she is an old lady in the body of a woman in her twenties. She take care of the maknaes well and is always there for her members. However you have to agree, that Nayeon is... a bit challenged when it comes to games. Her approach is unique and while adorable, it reminds me of a quirky grandma who just doesn't understand the way to do some things but tries her hardest anyway.

Like the beloved grandmas from our favourite books, Fuyuka is very emotional and nurturing; always supporting her members and being there for them at times of hardship. She really is precious. However this does not mean she is boring. She is anything but boring. After all she is known for her... unique fashion style and the weird things she sometimes does, Her personality is naturally quirky and funny and this shows even when she is giving great advice. This was her advice to new members on how to not act on television and how to correctly act.
