On September 27th, Park Soo Young’s (Lizzy’s) first hearing regarding her DUI case was held at Seoul Central District Court. During the first hearing, the prosecution requested the court to sentence Park Soo Young (Lizzy) to one year in prison for driving with a blood alcohol level of 0.197%.

I hope SK does make punishments harsher against those who DUI. It’s sickening thinking about all the *male* idols out there who still have careers after the possibility of ending someone’s life because you couldn’t call a fucking cab.

I hope SK does make punishments harsher against those who DUI. It’s sickening thinking about all the *male* idols out there who still have careers after the possibility of ending someone’s life because you couldn’t call a fucking cab.
The last high profile male idol who was caught DUI was probably from years ago. Even Youngmin (former AB6IX) who wasn't popular with the public had to leave the group after his DUI incident last year and almost immediately joined the military. He likely won't have a future in the entertainment business. The stricter views on this from the Korean public are as a result of the frequency of that occurring back then.

And besides, this is just the prosecution's sentence recommendation meaning there's hasn't been a verdict yet. It could turn into a suspended sentence, which means she wouldn't need to serve at all.
