Tengo fe, tengo esperanza
De un mañana que no se sienta vacío ni frío,
De una yo con más confianza
Que deje de nadar en la pena y el hastío.

Que vivir sea un motivo de alegría,
Y no sólo una cuestión de biología;
Para que mi sonrisa sea auténtica cada día,
Y la tristeza no gobierne mi mente, ¡esa bruja arpía!.

Donde ya no maldiga los sucesos de mi pasado,
Donde disfrute mi presente plenamente,
Y lo que me ate a la tierra no sea algo sagrado
Sino más bien las ganas de quedarme con mi gente.

Que el anhelo de dormir y no despertar, quede siempre atrás
Y mi vida se llene de positivismo y bienaventuranza,
De todo eso y más,
Tengo fe, tengo esperanza.
