The reviews for S3 were already released, the majority seemed impressed by it. It’s supposed to be better than S2 (I just hope it’s well rounded too).
I'm on episode 5 already and this season is so good! I think it might be my favorite.
I liked this season better than season 2, last ep's

I cried like a baby when
Hopper died, and again when Eleven read his letter
Hopper and Joyce scenes frustrated the hell out of me.
It seemed like a lot of the characters were a lot less smart this season

I hated that they put a lot of focus on the relationships more than they did on the plot of S3.

I'm halfway through S3 and it's killing me to not know what's happening next. I'm watching it with my dad so we can only watch it when we're both free 
I don't know, I think it works (from where I'm up to). This season is heavily focused on the idea that they're growing up and leaving their childhoods behind and for them, the relationships are an important part of them growing up. I like that we're watching the characters mature and living their lives with them. The plot is obviously important but so are the characters evolving for me!

Same i loved the atmosphere and all but the fact they focus too much on the couple relationships and their teenager romance fight made me skip 1/4 of the season.
But other than that its awesome
