Do you believe you have the talent to write your very own Fantasy story?
Well if so, come over here.
And write us a story that makes us believe in magic all over again.

How does it work?
All players planning to submit a story will need to sign up below so they can be alerted when the deadline is approaching.

You need to write one story, it can be an entire story or a part of it, that's up to you.
It needs to be between 750 to 1500 words long.
The story needs to be a fantasy.
While you can pick any fantasy element for your story,
you do get 5 bonus points if it is about a magical girl who fights evil entities*.

You need to write your story on Google docs and submit the link via the following form.

The deadline for submission of stories is 20th March 2 pm EDT (6PM UTC)

There will be two winners.
Yes, you read that right.
One will be selected by me and @Polaris_Tae.**
The other will be chosen by all the players.
If the same user has the most points from both the judges and the contestants, then the players' choice will be given to the user who scored the second-most points.

Those who submit an entry but do not score the entries will lose 20 points from their players' choice scores.
Those who submit scores will receive a bonus 5 elite points.
Information on scoring for players will be revealed when the scoring phase opens.
There will be 48 hours to send in your scores.

* The bonus will be added to a user's total judge's scores only.
**also a 2nd and 3rd place will be given from the judges scores.

These are the categories you will be judged on.
Originality - How unique your entry is.
Theme - How well is the fantasy theme incorporated. If you have only a few brief mentions to magic then the score you get for this category will be low.
Grammar and Punctuation - How grammatically correct is the entry.
Enjoyment - Was it enjoyable to read?

Each category will be scored out of 5 points.

Rules
Do not copy an existing story or a piece you have written before.
Your entry should only be written by you for this game.
Do not get help from others.
You can check your entry on a grammar application, that's allowed.
Do not include other users in your story as it can cause bias when scoring.
All entries are to be kept anonymous until the final results are revealed so do not hint or inform players which story belongs to you. This applies to all platforms.
Failure to meet the word count requirement will result in a 10 point penalty however if you write less than 650 words or more than 1750 words, your entry will be disqualified.
All general hplus and gaming rules apply.

Prizes
1st place - 6.5 orbs, 65k coins, 50 Elite Gamer Points
2nd place - 5.5 orbs, 55k coins, 40 Elite Gamer Points
3rd place - 4.5 orbs, 45k coins, 30 Elite Gamer Points
Participation - 90k, 10 Elite Gamer Points

All who submit entries will also receive the 'Watery Card'
