The year is 1928. A decade has past since the World War, and in a lovely red brick mansion, located in a Wealthy suburb of York, the trials of war seemed to have never touched the home or its residents. The Mansion is named Halloville, it was built in the late 18th Century, by Mr. Edmund Hollow, a wealthy businessman renowned throughout England for the wonderful shoes he created. And ever since then, his descendants have stayed in the mansion and continued to run the wonderful shoe empire he left behind. The mansion has seen it all. From the reign and death of Queen Victoria to the Industrialization that took over England and even the World War. But nothing could have prepared it for what it was to witness on one very cold Sunday morning.

Miss Isabella Hollow, the beloved daughter of the present head of the Family, was found dead.
Her body was by the pond, cold as ice.
No one knew how she died.
And the Family was sure it was suicide. It had to be. After all who would even kill Isabella?
The Blizzard that swept through the city 2 days before she was found dead made it impossible for anyone to reach the mansion.
The guests they had invited to join them for the weekend party had been handpicked. It could not be one of them. And it definitely could not be a member of the family.
So it had to be suicide... It had to be... right?

Well, one of their guests who had joined them a day before the blizzard struck, had his doubts. He looked at the residents and guests of the Mansion.
He could sense something in the air. Something sinister.
Hercule Poirot twirled his moustache.

Something was wrong and he was going to find out what it was.

There will be 8 rounds.

In each round you will be given a small part of a story to read and a question will be asked.
You will have 4 choices.
There will be a form attached to the round.

You need to pick your choice by stating the letter of the choice in the specific round's form and submitting it before the round ends.

You are only allowed one choice. So you cannot change your answer.
Choose the option you think suits the situation best.

Remember to choose carefully, because what you choose may either give you a clue about who committed the murder, be neutral and not have any effect on you, or it could even lead to your unfortunate death.

You will need a Game PM for this game.
Create your game PM with the title 'Detective Username'. e.g. Detective Akidoki.

After each round, you have the opportunity to make a guess about who the killer is.
There are 10 suspects.
And only one of them is the killer.
All the suspects are mentioned in Post 2.

To make a guess, you need to say Accuse Character Name in your Game PM. E.g. Accuse Hercule Poirot.
You cannot accuse a suspect while a round is being played. You have to wait until it ends and you are told you can make a guess.

You can only accuse a suspect once.
If you accuse someone and they turn out to be the murderer, you will win the game.
If you accuse someone and they turn out to be innocent... you will commit suicide out of shame.

You can choose to not make a guess until you are absolutely sure but remember only the fastest 3 people to make the right guess will walk away with prizes.

There will be 2 Minigames held within the game.

The first to post the answer will win the minigame you will receive amazing prizes.

If you win Minigame 1, you will receive an opportunity to make a Special Guess in your pm.
This guess needs to be made immediately as you are informed about winning the minigame.
It cannot be delayed.

If you win Minigame 2, you receive a special clue stating the name of someone who is definitely not the Killer.

When answering minigames, submit your answer via the Game PM. You can only post once. Do not edit your answer.

During a round you can only once choose an option in the thread. Do not post different choices or try to edit your choice. If you edit your post, your answer will not be counted. And your choice for the round will be randomized.

You do not have to bold your accusation or your choice. Once you post your accusation or your choice it will be immediately counted.

When sending your answer for the minigame, you can only post once and do not edit your answer.

If you receive a hint, you need to keep it to yourself.

Everyone thinks it was suicide but Poirot believes that there might be a more sinister reason behind her death.

The patriarch of the family and the Chairman of Hollow Shoes Pvt. Ltd. A wealthy businessman who planned a weekend party inviting 15 guests. He cares deeply about his Family Reputation.

Edward’s wife and the mother to his four children. It is said that her marriage with Edward is devoid of love and they now begrudgingly put up with one another for the sake of their children.

There was a change in the OP.

You will not post your choice in the round anymore. (I realized that if 20 players join i might end up taking a long time to sort through the answers).
So to not waste my time and yours.
