THE IDOLM@STER (アイドルマスター, Aidorumasutaa) is a japanese multimedia franchise that started out as an arcade game created by bandai namco on July 25, 2005, and later a Xbox 360 port on January 25, 2007. Since then the franchise has expanded to include a large discography, games on multiple platforms, spinoffs, and various anime, manga, and light novel adaptations.The series primarily centers on the career of a producer who works with a group of prospective pop idols at the talent agency 765 Production. the franchise has grown to numerous ports, sequels and spin-offs across multiple Video game consoles , including several Social network games. The series includes a variety of other media such as anime, printed media, audio dramas, a Korean drama, and radio shows.
