Sasaki Ayaka is the youngest member of Momoiro Clover Z and is known as the "idol" of the group. She's appeared solo as a performer and ambassador for different idol festivals holds a concert every summer called "Ayaka Nation". In 2019, the concert was held at Yokohama Arena. She'll release her first solo album 「A-rin Assort」 on the 8th of July.

AYAKA NATION 2019 was held today, and it was just announced that AYAKA NATION 2020 will take place in Yokohama Arena (shocking) on the 12th of July.

They've started a series illustrating/explaining the 55 different sports in the competition, called "One Minute, One Sport" (because the videos are a minute long).

Now that 2019 ended A-rin can look back at an incredibly active year where she really took responsibility, made things happen and grew.
Ahead of Ayakanation she released two very solid songs, with Bunny Gone Bad being one of my favourite releases this year. This year's AYAKANATION was by all accounts the best so far with great performances and production. She was involved with the Olympic and Paralympic Games as she was chosen to dub and promote the animated shorts, "One Minute, One Sport" introducing the various sports. She also had the starring role in the ninja play at Meijiza during the summer.

The second half of the year was largely dedicated to collaborations and events with other idols. In connection with Ayakanation she held "Yokohama A-rin Collection", a festival showcasing more than 20 lesser-known idol groups. In the fall she became the "playing producer" of JA Namie (Joshi-Hatsu Namie, or Namie Women's Organization), a project group made out of her and other idols from Stardust Planet. JA Namie hold regular performances in the ghost town of Namie with the goal of reviving the city. Finally, she produced Ayakarnival at the end of the year, a joint concert with =LOVE, EMPiRE and the SKE48 unit "Coming Flavor".

Hopefully this year will also bring many new positive experiences, while still letting her rest and enjoy herself.
