but didn't they just debuted some weeks ago, so why more members? long story short one of the original members Richi and their Producer Kuro chan fell in love and decided to quit so they could be together somewhere in Tokyo, if anyone is interested in that i posted more info below
the new members are iZUKi, KiNO and CHiHiRO

about Richi, it actually was big news, the tweet of the announcement has 250,000 likes
now while they are posting pictures daily of them going on dates the general consensus is that this is an elaborate prank, if you know anything about Kuro chan then it should become obvious why
this guy is a comedian and TV personality, back in 2019 he was the host of the audition show MONSTER IDOL that created the group MAMESHiBA NO TAiGUN, the show was half an audition and half a mockumentary, for example they would post "behind the scenes" of him being a shady producer, trying to make moves on them, etc
in the aftermath of the show MAMESHiBA launched a contest to decide what would happen with him, the options were
a) the group would be managed by Kuro chan
b) the group would get another manager
c) the group would get another manager and Kuro chan would be punished for his behavior during MONSTER IDOL
which one won?
they performed their debut song while he was being drowned in front of an audience and mind you this wasn't a cute dip in the water, i honestly don't know how this was a real thing, i legitimately thought he was toast
of course part of him being the villain during the show was for this to happen
in any case the lesson is, if you are the manager or a staff member of an idol group don't try to make moves on the members or you are going to be killed in a barbaric way
(MAMESHiBA also do their own comedy stuff and everyone from the group to Kuro were on it, so don't think much about it other than being a funny sketch)
but as you can see Richi's love story is probably going to end in a similar way, could be for a TV show since they have been guesting on different talk shows together and Richi was actually the ambassador of the prefecture of Kumamoto
back to the group, they also announced their first concert with MAMESHiBA NO TAiGUN, TONAi BOUSHO were created to be the former's rival group
if curious about Richi, she announced her debut as a solo talent, she is still going to be under the same company as TONAi BOUSHO
