July is already here with many new, interesting dramas to look forward to. Here’s a list of some upcoming Korean series this month. Which dramas are you anticipating the most?

Designated Survivor: 60 Days

Premiere Date: July 1st on tvN

A remake of the U.S. series "Designated Survivor", the drama is about Park Moo Jin (Ji Jin Hee), a former professor of chemistry and now holds the Minister of Environment position. He doesn’t have ambition, personal beliefs or political sense as a politician. One day, high ranking government officers are gathered for the President’s State of the Union address. An explosion then takes place, killing many government officials, including the President. He is the highest ranking government officer left alive. He doesn’t want the position, but he must sit as the acting president for 60 days. He chases after the person or group responsible for the explosion and he grows as a national leader.

Premiere Date: July 5th on Channel A

A remake of the Japanese series, Hirugao, the drama is about Son Ji Eun (Park Ha Sun) who moved to a small city due to her husband’s new job as a civil servant. She works part-time at a mart. She is quiet and her life in this small town becomes boring. However, her boring life is changed after she met Yoon Jung Woo (Lee Sang Yeob) who is a biology teacher at a local school.

Do Chi Gwang (Han Suk Kyu) is an elite detective. He is thoughtful and smart. Kim Young Koon (Seo Kang Joon) is a police officer and member of the mobile patrol team. He acts cold to other people, but he is actually tender with a warm personality. Han Tae Joo (Kim Hyun Joo) is a popular lawyer who used to work as a prosecutor. The lives of all three people, Do Chi Gwang, Kim Young Koon, and Han Tae Joo, were destroyed by a tragic affair. They have to come together as members of an internal affairs investigation team for the police to dig up the truth on who is behind the tragic affair.

She will start to develop a new game to satisfy him, but they will end up quarreling, creating a lovable comedy for the viewers. The drama between cold Ahn Dan Te and passionate Shin Yeon Hwa will double the excitement by stirring up odd chemistry.

Jang Man Wol (IU) is the CEO of Hotel del Luna. The hotel is situated in downtown in Seoul and has a very old appearance. She made a big error many years ago and, because of this, she has been stuck at Hotel del Luna. She is beautiful, but she is fickle, suspicious and greedy. Goo Chan Sung (Yeo Jin Goo) worked as the youngest assistant manager ever at a multinational hotel corporation. He is a sincere perfectionist. He looks level-headed, but he actually has a soft disposition. Due to an unexpected case, he begins to work as a manager at Hotel del Luna. The hotel's clientele consists of ghosts.

The drama will take an aim on solving social injustice and expose the dark side of society through the lens of healthcare. Do Joong Eun (Park Jin Hee) is an industrial health doctor who wants to uncover the truth and reasons behind people who have become ill in society. She partners with Doctor Heo Min Ki (Bong Tae Kyu) to investigate the industrial accidents, diseases and other incidents that take place at industrial sites.

The drama is about a highly successful lawyer, Ki Moo Hyuk (Yoon Kyun Sang), who falls from grace because of one case. He becomes a fixed term teacher at a high school that is tied to that case in order to regain his honor. Though he goes into the classroom for selfish reasons, he begins to see the crimes that take place and he takes matters into his own hands to help protect victims from their peers. The drama will shine a spotlight on the reality of teenagers facing little to no repercussions after committing a crime because they are teenagers, providing no protection for those who become a victim to these crimes.

The story takes place at the beginning of the 19th century. Goo Hae Ryung (Shin Se Kyung) is an intern to become a palace historian. However, it was not acceptable for women to write historical records at that time. She takes one step at a time to create her own destiny in Joseon, where the Confucius ideas are deeply rooted. She wants to fulfill her duties as a historian and prove to the world that everyone is equal. Along with the fight of the female palace historians, the drama will tell her romance with Prince Lee Rim (Cha Eun Woo) who has a secret of his own.

“Golden Garden” tells the story of four people who have lived totally different lives from one another but get involved in each other’s lives due to an incident. Eun Dong-Joo (Han Ji-Hye) attempts to get back her stolen life. When she was 6 years old, she was abandoned at an orphanage. She did not remember anything except her name. Despite her difficult environment, she has grown into a woman with a positive and bright personality. Cha Pil-Seung (Lee Sang-Woo) is a detective, who is good at his job. His parents died when he was young and he was then raised by his wealthy grandmother. Even though he is popular with women, he doesn't fall in love with anyone due to trauma from his parents' deaths.

The drama is about 18-year-old Choi Joon-Woo (Ong Seong Wu), he has gotten used to being lonely. He is not good at expressing his emotions, but he has a cute side. He transfers to a new school where he meets Yoo Soo-Bin (Kim Hyang Gi). She is a top student, but her life is controlled by her mother. Yoo Soo-Bin dreams of becoming independent. After meeting Choi Joon-Woo, she experiences small changes in her life. Meanwhile, Ma Whi-Young (Shin Seung Ho) is a student who seems perfect and gentle, but he suffers from a complex. He acts like a strong person, but he is really a timid 18-year-old boy. After Choi Joon-Woo transfers to his school, his life begins to change.

When the Devil Calls Your Name

Ooooh quite a few of them seem interesting.

Doctor Detective and Class of Lies will tackle real life problems, I'm curious about how they'll go about it and how it will be received. Especially Class of Lies which is a huge problem in Korea and something that has been on the news a few times during those last few years.
I can already see my blood boiling and my pressure rising while watching this, I bet I'll want to strangle a few of those kids.
