The Curse of La Llorona (2019): As someone from Mexico I could only laugh at most of what happened in this movie, why in the world La Llorona would be in LA, I don't know. Not a single scary moment, there was no tension whatsoever and both the kids and mother were dumb and unlikeable (even by horror movie standards). A big smh for this movie.

it's awesome visually, great graphic but unfortunately there's no expression in lions face so story kinda flat (far below compared to the cartoon)
turns out there are a lot reviewer gave negative score to this movie, as opposite from aladdin.
so i'll just give it 6/10

I was in the mood to watch some good lgbtq+ movies so I watched the classics Carol and Brokeback Mountain and they were both AMAZING. Also watched Call Me By Your Name but I really didn't like it....I feel like I'm the only one who actively disliked the film lol I really liked Elio's character though.

Brightburn (2019): Nothing groundbreaking but it was an entertaining watch, I wish the CGI was better because it was way too noticeable at some places and it took me out, I don't know why they didn't go the practical route but oh well. OK acting but predictable plot.

Poultrygeist: Night of the Chicken Dead :doge: You know what, for a bad film it was a decent bad film. Politically incorrect to the uncomfortable point at times, but definitely one of the better bad films I've been unfortunate enough to watch. 6/10

Men in Black: International (2019): It was...bad. I can't really think of a single thing that I genuinely liked about this movie. Hands down the worst film I've seen in a very long time.

Friend Zone (Thai Movie): 9.5/10

A really good movie. 0.5 points taken away because of the unrealistic ending

Dark Phoenix (2019): You know, it wasn't really as bad as I thought it would. I don't know, maybe my expectations for X-Men films are really low since Fox never knew what to do with them, but the first 20 min and the last 30 min were pretty entertaining; the stuff in the middle was slow and nonsensical as per usual tho. Sophie didn't suck which was a welcome surprise and the acting in general was pretty fine, the cast could only do so much with such a shit script to be honest. The score was amazing and my favorite part by far. A solid 6.5/10.

Aladdin (US Movie): 6.5/10 --> Honestly, they're not bad, they're just... awkward.
Lion King (US Movie): 7/10 --> Ignore the story, voice actor and the songs, everything is visually splendid)
Night Fury (Korean Movie): 6/10
Innocent Witness (Korean Movie): 7/10
Midsommar (US/Sweden Movie): 7.5/10

I'm watching all the Spider-man films. Yesterday I watched Sam Raimi's trilogy.

Spider-Man 1: 7/10. Nearly a good film but the visual effects, direction, corny dialogue just lost me.
Spider-Man 2: 7.5/10. Marginally better but still lacking for the same reasons. The only reason it gets 0.5 more is because Michael Bublé sang in the credits. Yes I am secretly a middle-aged woman.
Spider-Man 3: 0.5/10. Only gets a positive score because of Spidey butt and because it wasn't any longer than it was.

Anticipate me slandering the rest of the films that don't have Tom Holland in :judgingyou:

The Danish Girl (UK Movie): 8/10
The Theory of Everything (UK Movie): 8.5/10 --> I'm always weak to the character who admit that they tired doing "love" to their loved ones
Koe No Katachi (Japanese Movie Animation): 8.5/10 --> You know what? Just watch it. It breaks your heart little the more you watched this movie.
Man In Love (Korean Movie): 7.5/10
6 Years (US Movie): 6/10 --> The ending scene though, that's highlight everything in this movie.
