What are your thoughts on EVERGLOW's comeback 'first'?

when i first heard it i did not like it at all, after a listening to it on repeat a few times it started to grow on me

Not for me, La Di Da is still the only Everglow track I much like tbh.

Pretty much what @Seriously said. I knew they were never gonna top LADIDA but a part of me was hoping they'd release something that's in a similar vein to it. Instead, they put out another generic song that you could pin point to majority of girl groups today.

At least the music video was nice but that doesn't mean much to me when I rarely watch MVs more than once.

LA DI DA reached such a high level (the song and the MV), it was going to be hard to remake the same thing

But it doesn't mean First was bad, it's a pretty good comeback. They put a lot of effort and budget on the MV once again and the choreo seems more intense than LA DI DA.

Ive only listened to it once, so that says a lot.
I dont hate it but its by far my least favorite everglow title track, ive loved them all up until now so im really disappointed. Tail remains my favorite female release of the year so far followed by after school.

i'm so agree with @BianTwo, First isn't bad but Ladida was masterpiece who has its own level. everglow is such group who always produce great song for each comeback so it's natural if we kinda had high expectation for them.
and the mv itself, it's the best mv i've seen this year

the mv is a masterpiece, imo every track on −77.82X−78.29 is a masterpiece, but this comeback is kinda hard to say i love it.
it might grow on me in the future but idrk

LA DI DA and -77.82X-78.29 in general was so easy to love first listen, but i just find it hard to instantly fall in love with Last Melody in general

It's not bad for what they are attempting with song and concept, but as others have said La Di Da was a bop and comparing the two I find this to be less enjoyable.

on first listen i thought it was kinda a mess but i think its growing on me the more i listen, especially the chorus ! overall i think it might be their weakest title track but its not terrible imo

I'm a noise music enthusiast and still I did not like this :/ Comparing it to their other songs that follow the same line (Adios and Dun Dun), I like both songs better and Adios is still unparalleled in terms of choreo, energy and performance in general. I didn't like the perf for this that much either... but the MV and styling are very nice
