FANTASY BOYS will release their 3rd mini album ‘MAKE SUNSHINE’ at 6PM on the 2nd of May.
‘Make Sunshine’ is FANTASY BOYS’s first album in about 5 months. The feeling of love is conveyed with a unique coolness and freshness.
The title song ‘I’m sure she’s smiling at me’ (Pitter-Patter-Love) contains the fresh confession of a boy in first love. It is characterized by an honest portrayal of the thrilling emotions of first-time love.
In addition, a total of four songs are included, including 'I Don't Know, Is It First Love or a Passing Feeling' (Make Sunshine), which sings about a clumsy but pure heart, 'Feeling', written and composed by member Hikaru, and an acoustic version of 'I'm sure she's smiling at me' (Pitter-Patter-Love).

-How do you feel about coming back after 5 months?
Kim Wooseok: I spent the past 5 months thinking about the Bandi who would welcome me with a bright smile. I prepared and practiced a lot to show Bandi a great show, and I hope you like it. This time, we pray for first place on music and music shows.
Lee Hanbin: We made a comeback after 5 months, and we want to show our growth and better stages to Bandi who have been waiting for us.
-You showed off your visuals through concept photos. Which member has the most visuals in this activity? If you were to choose the member who best suits this album, who would it be?
Hikari: I'd like to say, 'I think it's me!', but I think the three youngest members of the line who are still attending school - Gyurae, Kaedan, and Hyeontae - are a good match, especially since they are wearing school uniforms this time.
Ling Qi: I think the member whose visuals stand out is Sungmin. Sungmin came back with black hair, and I personally like Sungmin’s black hair the most. And I think the member who suits this album best is the maknae line. In reality, he is still a student, so he looks really adorable in his school uniform.
Kaedan: I think Wooseok hyung is the person who best suits this album because he has a very bright personality.
-What kind of album is the new album ‘Make Sunshine’?
Kang Minseo: This album is an album that conveys the feeling of ‘love’ with the freshness and refreshing-ness unique to FANTASY BOYS. We have prepared a comprehensive gift set so that you can feel our various charms in the included songs, so we hope you will listen to it a lot.
Hikaru: This is an album containing music that best represents us. In the title song ‘She’s Surely Smiling at Me’ (Pitter-Patter-Love), you can hear the members’ refreshing voices to the strong beat. In ‘I Don’t Know, Is It First Love or a Passing Feeling?’ (Make Sunshine) the lyrics express the awkward but pure beginnings of love.

-Introduction to the point choreography for the challenge. What kind of choreography did you prepare?
Oh Hyeontae: The highlights of our choreography are the choreography of stabbing the chest twice and the cheek twice, as well as the choreography that looks like covering your eyes and then opening them. “She smiles at me” (Pitter-Patter-Love) was expressed intuitively, such as expressing her smile with her fingers to match the lyrics, making it more fun to watch.
-How was the music video filming process? Any special episodes or memorable moments?
Kim Wooseok: On the day of filming, the sunlight was strong, so the forearms and necks of many people, including me, got very red. So at that time, the red forearms contrasted with the color of my face made me laugh. (Laughs) It was hot enough to get burned, but I was able to film happily and gain strength because of the words of encouragement and support during the filming. I felt good because I was able to perform an act that I have always been interested in and received praise.
Ling Qi: The process of filming the music video was difficult because it required imagination and acting, just like filming a drama, but it was very fun. What I remember is that there were no lights when filming at night, and it was dark inside the school, so no one could go to the bathroom alone, and the members had to go together to go to the bathroom.
-Hikaru recorded his own song. How was the working process and how did you feel about including your own song?
Hikaru: ‘Feeling’ is a song I’ve been working on for a long time. As time passed from the moment I started working until now, I focused on being able to express my own growth well. I was also inspired by a friend I worked with, and we worked together while giving each other many opinions. I'm so happy to be releasing this song faster than I thought, and I hope many people will like it after listening to it.
-The comeback lineup in the music industry is spectacular. What strengths will FANTASY BOYS show among them?
Hong Sungmin: I was half worried and half excited about the comeback in May. I was worried at first, but I plan to do my best because it is an opportunity to be grateful and learn just by being able to stand on the same stage with wonderful and respected seniors.

- Along with their Korean comeback, they are showing off their global moves through their Japanese debut and tour. How does it feel, and what goals do Fantasy Boys dream of?
Hikaru: We have been holding concerts since before our official debut. While performing, I definitely saw things I had missed before and I think I learned how to enjoy the stage. I want to continue performing for a long time. The goal is to make fans feel that it is an ‘unforgettable fantasy.’
Kim Wooseok: We were able to do all of this thanks to Bandi. My goal is to work harder in the future and become a world-class artist by sweeping the grand prize at the year-end awards ceremony.
