I've been waiting on the NJ's parents to release their side of the story via the media but it never seemed to happen.

Instead, today the NJ parents decided to open their own social media accounts.

Here's today's update.

NJ Parents Instagram

A new instagram account claiming to be NJ's parents opened today releasing a statement.

The new instagram account is @Jeanz_pr

This new account is the only account followed by the new NJ instagram (jeanzforfree) so that is confirmation that this is a real account and not fake.

Here is a translation of what they posted on instagram that i found on twitter:

Hello. We are the parents of Minji, Hanni, Daniel, Haerin, and Hyein.

This account will be operated on a temporary basis. We regret to inform you that we had no choice but to create it in order to represent our position in our dispute with HYBE.

Because there was no official outlet to convey our stance, we have tried multiple times—through direct interviews with various media outlets and by providing factual information through journalists we know—to get our message across.

Thankfully, a small number of outlets did publish our story as it was. However, they were very few in number. We also attempted to distribute a press release through an agency, but we faced many difficulties in ensuring our position would be reported in print without distortion—for example, headlines were often written in misleading ways.

While any comments from the members themselves have either been distorted or cited only in a negative context—or covered in just a handful of minor articles—HYBE and ADOR continue to distribute hundreds of articles a day through various media outlets, including biased online platforms. These articles contain false information or content solely representing HYBE and ADOR’s views, without going through the basic fact-checking or rebuttal processes that proper media should undertake.

[Unfortunately, we have received information suggesting that, ahead of our upcoming injunction lawsuit, HYBE and ADOR are once again circulating rumors (known as “jjirasi”) among several reporters in order to spread false articles targeting the members. This is why we have decided to create this account.]

We sincerely apologize to those who may feel weary from this prolonged dispute.

Nevertheless, the information we plan to share here will mainly be matters that the members cannot easily communicate themselves. As we are currently the only spokespersons for the members, we are in urgent need of a channel to convey the facts accurately, and we ask for your understanding in this regard.​

People are currently wondering why the parents did not release a statement via their lawyers, and are wondering if some more big news is supposed to drop soon and this is why they are releasing this statement.


I also have a slightly unrelated NJ news update, or more of an update on something going on in the Tokki fandom???

I have no idea how tf this started, but Tokki's are currently fighting with VIPS on twitter and tiktok.

I do want to shout out that I think it's only international Tokki's doing this?

They are calling Big Bang old, talentless, can't dance, and flops. They are also saying Big Bang had no impact on paving global kpop while NJ and BTS did.

VIP's are fighting back saying Big Bang did have a big impact on the kpop industry and are/were popular.

This war seems very very random. Has New Jeans and Big Bang even interacted with each other before??? Where did this come from and how did this start???

I don't see how Tokki's are doing themselves any favors by picking anymore fights at this point, especially with bringing Big Bang into this? I think it's reletively obvious and agreed upon by anyone who was there during their active years that BB was a significant player in the Hallyu wave. Of course, BTS and NJ have as well, but that doesn't negate what role BB had.

That "war" is pure poop. I understand they were in diapers when Big Bang dominated but, their level of ignorance is ridiculous.

I agree it’s not helping, NJ needs allies right now not more enemies.

They are somewhat dragging BlackPink into it? They are claiming Big Bang fans are leeching off of Black Pink’s success and use blink’s help to get votes and stuff.

They sure AF are not talking to lawyers before doing anything. A lot of netizens (both Korean and Western netizens) were confused why they were not releasing a statement through their lawyers when they said they have no way of making an official statement.

Are they at a point where they don’t trust their lawyers now?…

It has been taken down for attacking TOP's unalive attempt most likely. I was looking at it earlier and saw all the groups mentioned being attacked. When I went back to write here about it the twitter account was struck.

They were not taken down for attacking TOP, Team Bunnies/Tokki’s released a statement saying they found out their identity and brought them into the police station to be arrested for talking bad about New Jeans.

I feel like this is really messed up.

If Hybe/Ador/MHJ/ New Jeans themselves wanted them to stop tweeting I completely understand them starting a lawsuit against the account, but if we’re hitting the point in Kpop where Kpop fans are doxxing and suing other Kpop fans for talking bad about their group online that is kind of scary to me.

Mini update: A VIP has said online they are starting a police report against the account due to what they said about Big Bang/TOP, I have no idea if the person is American or Korean though and if they begun the police report yet.

The account was taken down due to team bunnies/tokki’s lawsuit against them though.

I think it had much less to do with talking bad and much more with them pretending to be a tokki to attack other fandoms and also posting inflammatory and often fake or exaggerated news and facts about njs. They and their followers were trying to wreck the reputation of both.
If it were a any fake account purposefully try this against another fandom or group I would feel the same. Honestly represent who you are.
