I've been gone for awhile but here's some news that has happened since then.

AleXa Updates

I've been sitting in on AleXa's tiktok lives when I can and trying to post some updates in her thread, but I wanted to include her updates here as well since I'm not sure if anyone really reads it?

Here's a summary:
- She is leaving her company in March early and will be re-debuting in April. She doesn't even visit her company building anymore.
- When she leaves her company she will no longer be going by the name "AleXa". Based on other fans online we're pretty certain she will be going by either Alex or Alex Christine in going forward. (It seems she's always hated the stage name AleXa.)
- She will be staying in Seoul. She just got a new apartment and is moving in at some point? It's a lot bigger and has room for her to have a studio.
- I'm not sure if she will be re-debuting with a new song in April though, she implied that once she leaves her company it will be awhile before she can give us new music.
- She won no money on America's Song Contest. The prize was just having your song played on the radio.
- Any current plans/projects/songs/etc she's waiting to release until she leaves.
- I know she was supposed to release one final album under her company months ago but it never got released? I have no idea what's happening to that. I'm not sure if she even knows why her company never released the album. I have no idea if her company will drop the album last minute before she leaves, if she will release it herself later, or if its just indefinitely scrapped.
- She's sort of implied her company isn't paying her or at least withholding money from her? She also never got any sort of food/living expenses allowance from her company until mid last year. She's had to live off of her savings.
- She "implied"/ warned people that her company has been stealing her fan mail and gifts. They will say they gave her anything, but certain things will Allegedly go missing.

RIIZE Sohee

RIIZE's Sohee has stepped down as an MC of M!Countdown

Over the past week or two Sohee has been met with a LOT of criticism from netizens over his frequent absences of his MC duties. Netizens were criticizing him for seemingly being absent more often than he was on the show and saying that if he didn't have the time to properly dedicate to his MC duties than he shouldn't have become an MC at all.

Sohee became an MC a year ago and he will be stepping down on the 27th to focus on his group activities.

CLC Reunion

WE HAVE REALLY EXCITING NEWS TODAY FOR ANY FELLOW CHESHIRES HERE!

It appears CLC will have a reunion for their 10th anniversary!

The girls have all been hinting the reunion across their SNS accounts. Sorn has been filming tiktok videos at the Cube building, and some of the members have been posting tiktoks together!

I am not sure if this will be a full group comeback. I haven't seen Seunghee or Eunbin but I know they're still under cube so i'm sure they're there behind the scenes. I have no idea what's the situation on Elkie though, my assumption so far is that she won't be in the reunion.

NCT Renjun

NCT's Renjun has always been known as a fashionista!
I know my friend is a fan of him and she's always reposting his outfits into my twitter feed. He's very fashionable! He honestly needs a brand deal if he doesn't have one already.

Renjun's latest airport fashion has been gaining attention recently, specifically his bag which is a Hermes bag worth around $300,000 dollars.

Yunjin Response

Not quite the biggest news but I wanted to share a Le Sserafim update that I thought was sweet!

A response LSF's Yunjin made to a a fan on weverse has been trending online. A fan was saying how they feel insecure about their acne and Yunjin responded saying how no one has perfect skin and it's just your body keeping you healthy:

I know Sakura sends sweet messages to fans as well and I'm happy to see the LSF members always promoting self love to the fans


Sana Trendsetter

Some recent fashion by Sana has also been trending online as well!
Recently Sana has been styling her hair in some retro curls and it's become a big hit online! On Chinese social media tons of tutorials have popped up on how to recreate her look and it's starting to trend in other countries/on other social media channels as well!

I'm interested if we will be seeing a lot more vintage curls on idols soon.

Dahyun Acting Debut

Speaking of Twice, Dahyun has officially made her acting debut!
A lot of the JYP family came out to support her debut!

Twice was seen running on stage to give her flowers, and many other JYP artists came to show support for Dahyun as well including ITZY's Chaeryeong and Yuna, Stray Kid's Bang Chan, Changbin, Lee Know, and Han, and 2PM's Jun K and Junho.

I think it's sweet so many labelmates came out to support Dahyun!

Congrats on your acting debut Dahyun! May your movie be a success and may we see you in a lot more things in the future!

Madein Yeseo

I actually have some happy Madein news for once!

Madein's Yeseo will be making her stage play debut in Dongguk University's play HAMELIN. The play will run from February 26th-28th. She is currently attending the university as a theater department student/major.

Since this play is part of her university it is entirely outside of her Madein/143 ent contract and her company will not be making and profit off of this!
Awhile the boycott of Madein and 143 ent continues, people are encourage to go see Yeseo's play and support her since this play supports her directly!

China content ban lifted

This May it has been announced that China has planned to lift it's Korean content ban that was put into affect 8 years ago.

This will allow the distribution of Kpop and Kdramas into the country again.

Some positive things i've had happen are that I was able to see Taemin, I am currently eating fried chicken, and I went to pet my dog and she got really exited to see me and it melted my heart

AleXa's situation with her former label was so bad, I'm glad she's free from them

Sorn was trying to reunite CLC members for some time now and moreover their 10th anniversary is incoming. She managed to get Seungyeon, Yujin and Yeeun. For Eunbin and Seunghee it might be less easier but they are trying

As for Madein I think most boycott are from Western fans, not much from Korean or Japanse fans but I might be wrong.

China K-pop ban lifted, nice !

For the question : I went to the dentist to check on my dental health, I'll have to remove a wisdom tooth but overrall it's all good. It's been a long time since I've seen a dentist so I'm reassured.
