I have to leave for work soon but I wanted to post a mini kpop news roundup of some stuff I found.

SM Town Mexico

The lineup for SMTown Mexico and it has been announced that both Wendy and Yeri will not be attending, Red Velvet will be performing with only Irene Seulgi and Joy.

We have no information as to why Wendy and Yeri are not attending. (I know Wendy has her radio show, but Yeri currently has no known schedules during the concert time so everyone's a bit confused why she isn't going).

People are once again speculating if their absence is related to any contract renewal reasons.

Hearts2Hearts will be going and performing though along with Naevis!

I have also noticed that instead of just listing Key and Minho as "Shinee" they specifically listed just Key and Minho this time.

Taemin Bra Shower

Taemin's US tour has started in LATAM.

Previously western kpop fans had a habit of barking at kpop artists during their concerts, but Shawols (/Taemints/Taemates) have upgraded to now throwing bras at Taemin during his concerts.

I will keep y'all updated on if this becomes a trend for all of his oversea stops.

I will be attending his concert in 12 days and I will very much be keeping my bra on

New Labelmate

Former President Joe Biden has recently signed under Got7 Mark's US talent agency CAA, meaning they are now officially label mates.



CAA also houses several other kpop artists US promotions such as all SM artists (Aespa, NCT127, SuperM, etc), Seori, Amber Liu, and P1Harmony.

BamBam

Speaking of labels, it was also announced today that Got7's BamBam has left his label Abyss.

Fans are pretty happy that he left his label because BamBam was very noticeably overworked and depressed under this company. (He was also pretty open about it as well.)

Congrats on leaving your terrible company BamBam! I hope you can find a better company who treats you better!


Soyeon Thriving

Soyeon has been slaying with her producer work per usual!

It was recently said by Itzy that they wish to work with Soyeon on a song one day.

Additionally, it was also announced that Soyeon will be the main producer for PSY's new girl group under PNation. Soyeon did many things from producing the debut song, arranging the formation of the girls, to managing the recording. Soyeon was praised for "showing off her ability to produce customized songs that fit the characteristics of each member".

Previously Soyeon has produced songs for other artists such as CLC, Apink's Namjoo, and recently QWER.

Keep slaying Soyeon! I'm happy your producing talent is getting recognized!

Gdragon

We have been getting a lot of Gdragon news recently!
- He is releasing his new album Übermensch (The album name has also been under a lot of controversy on twitter due to many people considering it problematic).
- He will be performing at the Head In The Clouds concert with 2ne1, Dean, and DPR IAN in California on May 31st and June 1st
- He will be going on a World Tour.

We will be seeing a lot of GDragon this year!

NJ News

It was announced today that the first trial for Ador vs New Jeans in regards to the contract termination will be on April 3rd.

We now have to wait 2 more months of media play before we can finally start to get some settlements on things

my good news is that SM announced Riku will be returning from his hiatus in March. He hasn't promoted with Nct Wish since October and has been dearly missed (and I can't wait to see him their recent super cute styling too)

The best thing for me lately is that Amazon finally started to deliver my parcels on time.
After weeks of having delayed parcels, the courier service here in Aus is finally stepping up its game
