i dont count the redebuts. But, Rescene was #1 for sure. Geenius was really good, but they did nothing all year at times i forgot about them...

In terms of 2024 girl groups, I liked ILLIT & Say My Name the most

Rescene was the "nugu" rare gem, they caugh some people's attention and it's deserved. It's not only about their good songs but as idols they are interacting a LOT, their lives are very long, fun and they seems close with their CEO (I hope). Obviously Woni got most of the attention but the other members are also fun. I hope they can keep this momentum but it won't be easy. The company is small so the best we can do is to support them and wish them the best

UNIS, my personal "surprise", SBS knew was they were doing and those girls are already quite entertaining and good on stage despite being very young overrall. This doesn't dismiss the industry's issue debuting kids but with the competition and with with that lineup I doubt things will change soon.
And Curious was one of my fav 2024 K-pop title track.

MEOVV, big expectations, Black Label, Teddy's group, Ella's debut, all the members being very pretty and tall (except Ella), but their songs so far aren't great. However the fandom is present as I expected so I won't worry much on that side.

Say My Name, because of Hitomi, I didn't expect her to redebut in Korea.

ODD Youth, for Myah's debut, but the group is nugu so good luck to them

and finally ILLIT, despite being in a difficult context I'm glad to see them debut

rescene's debut didn't do much for me, but i've liked their more "recent" songs quite a bit - i definitely recommend pinball to anyone who hasn't heard it yet...it's giving red velvet







+ i felt similarly with unis - wasn't feeling their debut but curious is a whole bop

Musically, I really like RESCENE. About concept, visuals, chemistry, vibe, MEOVV is my favorite (I need them to release better music).
