music nowadays sound the same. Back then you have boybands, punk, rock, ballads, girl groups, etc. Avril Lavigne sounds different from Christina Aguilera and they sound different from Britney Spears. And all of them sound so different from Mariah Carey. everyone had their own style of music. There also only few iconic songs in 2010s and most of them sound similar tbh
