AAA leader Naoya Urata has announced that he will withdraw from the group today on December 31. He was banned following an incident and while the ban was lifted today, it was also decided that he would leave the group. Says he'll continue activities on his own.
On April 19, 2019, Urata was arrested for assaulting a 20-year old woman. Urata later claim he was drunk and had no recollection of the incident. [1] He was not charged/prosecuted(?).

ニュース｜ 今年4月に女性への暴行容疑で逮捕（その後、不起訴処分）と、無期限謹慎処分となっていたダンス＆ボーカルグループ・AAAのリーダー、浦田直也（37）の所属事務所・エイベックス・マネジメントは12月31日、同日をもって謹慎処分を解除することを発表するとともに、浦田のグループ脱退を報告した。 書面では「この度、2019年4月22日より無期限謹慎処分となっておりました浦田直也について、2019年12月31日を以て謹慎処分を解除すると共に、AAAを脱退することを報告させていただきます」と発表。

For those unfamiliar with the details, he was arrested back in April for slapping a woman he did not know in a convenience store at 5 AM. Tabloids allege that he was trying to hit on the woman, and when she denied him, he demanded she acknowledge who he was and hit her when she said she didn't know. There's no hard proof of that, but assaulting a woman is still a whole lot of yikes. I won't miss him.
