Aimer's Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc OP Theme MV Reaches One Million Views Within A Day

The official YouTube channel for Japanese female singer Aimer posted a music video for her latest song "Zankyo Sanka," which has been featured as the OP theme for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc, at 00:00 on December 13 (JST). The three-minute video immediately got a million views in less than a day. As of this writing, 36 hours after its premiere, its viewing number has already reached 1.77 million times.

When the video was posted, Aimer admitted on Twitter that it was her most flamboyant and favorite music video in her career. "I'm really happy. Thank you to everyone who watched it. I'll watch it again, tasting the sweets of success."

The song "Zankyo Sanka" was released digitally first on December 5, 2021, then has reached No.1 on 48 domestic and 23 overseas digital charts. Her double A-side 20th single including "Zankyo Sanka" and "Asa ga Kuru" (Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc ED theme) is set to be released in Japan on January 12, 2022.
