I have to get used to women's soccer/football matches being rather slow. There are lots of random penalties, incompetent goalkeepers and the commentator from Dream League Soccer to narrate some matches too lol

That own goal by South Korea against Nigeria was hilarious. Anyways are you watching it and which team are u supporting?

I used to but not this year - to be honest, I'm an American but I kinda can't stand many prominent members of the USWNT. I think they're often rude, tacky, and arrogant. I like to pull for France, Japan, and Sweden and okay anyone else.

Italy's team is doing unusually well, maybe this will convince our football federation to treat women's football as an actual sport instead of ignoring its very existence; it's seen as a very masculine endeavour here, unlike volleyball and water polo. Then again, our football federation is so corrupt women's football might end up being tainted by the very same issues that are plaguing the men's game, and I don't want that.

At least, now that the women are amateur players that barely get paid at all, they do it because they love the game, most of the men right now do it because by earning as much as they do they can afford to do as much cocaine and fuck as many people as they want.

I am, rooting for the US but I do agree, we need to tone it down a bit and be more respectful.

I can't comment on the refereeing much though since new to football and learning still but it's disappointing to hear that they're terrible. Nothing frustrates me than poor officiating.

I am. Rooting for any nation that isn't the USA, their display against Thailand was too disrespectful so I say no.

The penalties are way too much and the defences are so weak that it seems scripted.

I was, but then Canada got eliminated and now that unbearably obnoxious US team is pretty much set to win, so not really. I'll watch USA vs England though, because England is the last hope to saving us from USA winning again, PLEASE WIN ENGLAND I'M BEGGING
