I like Sech Kies because of Eun Jiwon and Jaeduck.

Their Weekly idol ep a few years ago is also really funny!

Other than that, I really love a few of their songs!












Especially the last song is so dorky!! And love the dance for the song!

Ahhh really? I loved their weekly idol episode, but Shinhwa’s run was really good too!

They really did have good music. I think I fell off from them after seeing too much of Sunghoon

I been a big fanboy of Eun Jiwon for a really long time! And him being part of the Kang Hodong's line help too!

And honestly among the big 3, YG music when it come to BGs appeal to me more. Like I really like Big Bang (F off Seungri). Winner's music is good to me too, Ikon is decent.

And I am a big fan of Jinusean.

And Sean of Jinusean is an amazing guy. Really fit (he cycle and run a lot) and he do lots of charities!

I use to like IKON but dropped them after BI left the group. Them and their music never really felt the same after he left

I support BI’s solo work though.

That's fair! Their music never hit the mark for me, but I can't deny Whistle was an amazing song - so, I think it had more to do with their set-up than anything. I just don't think they were as well constructed as the other YG groups.

Edit: Though, I didn't like Winner as much when Taehyun was still around.

I agree, I don’t think they were structured well at all? I felt like they wanted to have more of a hip-hop YG vibe, found more success with Love Scenario and Killing Me, but those aren’t hip-hop-ish and they couldn’t really find their own thing which hurt them?

I didn’t really pay attention to Big Bang until later cause I was a GG Stan for awhile, but I paid attention to IKON cause my friend had a huge crush on Bobby, and looking back on them now would it be terrible to say YG definitely wanted to set up BI and Bobby to be the next TOP and GDragon but it flopped so SO hard?

Like looking back they truly wanted Bobby to be the next GDragon and I feel like YG keep wanting them to be like Big Bang instead of structuring them to have their own thing which killed them, and YG pushed them to the side when they didn’t live up to expectations.

Yeah, but B.I. was well known for his dad being friends with YG. YG REALLY wanted Ikon to be the bigger group in comparison to Winner. As a matter of fact, they come from the same show and YG was **pissed** when Winner won (which is why Mix9 was crazy? We know he has favorites and doesn't like when the group he likes loses???) I wouldn't say they were pushed aside, because YG has always put them before Winner. Winner has never really been given the big opportunities that Ikon has had, despite just making better music and being more liked.

I think the first big issue was that the group was too big, and the vocalists weren't showcased the right way. I never understood YG debuting a 7 member group and Treasure is craaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaazy to me.

The person who was called "Baby GD" was actually Mino, who is an excellent artist and manages to do more experimental hip-hop very well. When he released Fiance, there were literary experts praising his lyrics.
