BiS announces disbandment

they are going to disband on Dec 28! very sudden since they have their schedule full until the first months of 2025 but basically their reason was that they were too busy to the point they were starting to get overwhelmed, this was the 3rd generation of BiS and their 5th anniversary was earlier this month

is sad but somehow expected, each version of BiS are groups that because of multiple reasons can only exist during specific eras
now i'm starting to feel that i should had done a post about their 5th anniversary at this point is too late but here their debut song from almost exactly 5 years ago



btw my sig is from this mv, there are groups i like more than BiS 3rd gen but i always get a chuckle form this picture, i change it a couple of times but i always keep coming back to it

kinda surprising by the announcement but at the same time not really, feels like the BiS system is set up to not last that long

the upside is that so far the previous gens have a really good record of the ex members ending in other groups so i'm sure we are going to see most of them again in the future

the 3rd gen of BiS was very punk like so if you like idol songs that are darker and have heavier sound then you can't get much better than them








but my favorite song of them is basically an outlier in their discography



the lyrics are about one of the members, the group debuted right before the pandemic and after they lifted some of the restrictions Toggy went on her first travel on her own but because she is shy and introverted it was very awkward, that's basically the vibe of the song and video
