Blackpink scores a new career-best rank on the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart, as "Ice Cream," with Selena Gomez, debuts at No. 13.

The Hot 100 blends all-genre U.S. streaming, radio airplay and sales data. All charts (dated Sept. 12) will update on Billboard.com tomorrow (Sept. 9, a day later than usual due to the Labor Day holiday in the U.S. yesterday). Released Aug. 28 on YG Entertainment/Interscope Records, "Ice Cream" arrives with 18.3 million U.S. streams and 23,000 downloads sold in its first week, ending Sept. 3, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data. It also drew 5.1 million radio airplay audience impressions in the week ending Sept. 6.

The track enters the Digital Song Sales chart at No. 2 and Streaming Songs at No. 8.

Blackpink, the South Korean quartet comprising members Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa and Rosé, rewrites its best Hot 100 debut and rank, outpacing two tracks that began and peaked at No. 33 earlier this year: "Sour Candy," with Lady Gaga, in June and "How You Like That" in July.

Blackpink likewise lands its best placements on Digital Song Sales and Streaming Songs, as well as its highest sales week for a song.

The foursome also makes its first appearance on the mainstream top 40-based Pop Songs radio airplay chart, where "Ice Cream" enters at No. 32. Reporters that played it the most in the week ending Sept. 6: SiriusXM's Hits 1 (72 plays), Radio Disney (62), XHTZ San Diego (48), WHTZ New York (37) and WNFN Nashville (36).

Gomez, meanwhile, earns her 25th top 40 Hot 100 hit with "Ice Cream." She last ranked higher with "Lose You to Love Me," which became her first No. 1 last November.

Plus, YG achieves its highest Hot 100 rank, surpassing the No. 26 peak of PSY's "Hangover," featuring Snoop Dogg, in 2014.

As for all-female groups on the Hot 100, thanks to "Sour Candy," "How You Like That" and now "Ice Cream," Blackpink is the first such act to link three consecutive top 40 hits since Fifth Harmony, which strung together four in four straight appearances in 2015-16, reaching a No. 4 high in that stretch with "Work From Home," featuring Ty Dolla $ign.

Meanwhile, Blackpink's three top 40 Hot 100 hits have all debuted in the region. The record streak for most consecutive top 40 debuts among all-female groups? Spice Girls sent each of their first seven Hot 100 entries onto the chart directly in the top 40 in 1997-98, starting with "Wannabe," which began at No. 11 before spending four weeks at No. 1.

"Ice Cream," whose eight credited writers include Gomez and Ariana Grande, previews Blackpink's debut LP The Album, due Oct. 2.
