Idol groups and girl groups in general haven't been doing super hot, and a lot also rides on how good of a song they pick out, how well they get promoted, etc. Are the companies gonna do IOI and the fans right? Or are they cashing in for a quick buck. We're all too familiar with the poor track record of companies involved.

I'm sort of shocked Kyulkyung came back from China for this, but props to her.
It must be sad for her too now that Pristin has disbanded. And all the IOI members had made the pact amongst themselves wanting to reunite.
As far as her China activities, afaik she's done with drama shooting no? Other than that it's just random interviews, photoshoots, maybe a show appearance, etc. It's awesome she has regular activities in China, but I'm sure Pledis would also see the value in keeping Kyulkyung's relevance in Korea up.

I think she makes more money in China than she ever has for Pledis in Korea. And Pledis doesn't have a great track record of maintaining or promoting their girls, RIP pristin, AS
Without a doubt as far as the money. And very true about Pledis. I think it boils down to a combination of Pinky wanting to do it, Pledis/Pinky wanting her to have some Korean promo, and Pledis not having to do much of any work as third party companies will be handling it. Whatever the reasons, I'm relieved it all worked out.
